Was Terry Glenn a liability?

Was Terry Glenn a liability? I know hindsight is 20/20, but having Glenn out there meant no Sam Hurd, and honestly, Hurd was making plays all over the field for us all year. Glenn clearly could not match that production.

let's be real here, Hurd made like 4 plays this year and that's being generous

You might actually be right.

How healthy was Glenn really? He certainly looked pretty shaky on several of his catches. If the Giant cornerback doesn't just straight drop a ball, TG slipping on a cut would've cost the Cowboys a 14-point swing.

I wonder how many yards were left on the field having Glenn out there as opposed to Hurd. And you also gotta wonder if this is it for Glenn's career.

Patty Crayton was the real liability. I still think his drop on that Romo improv play was the beginning of the end for us today.

Three things:

(1) Glenn is DONE!

(2) Glenn playing the #2 WR spot forced Crayton into the #3 WR role, while the rest of the year he was playing the #2 WR spot. Could this change in responsibility have been enough to throw Crayton's game off? Also, I'm not trying to excuse it (I don't - Crayton played poorly!); I'm just wondering what could explain it.

(3) Glenn is DONE!

Crayton playing the third receiver spot had no effect on his ability to catch the ball. He just had a bad game today.

Numbers one and two are completely objective and gimme a damn break on number two. Crayton made his name in the slot. He played there (and damn well) for his entire career up till this year. If there was any mix-up in change of responsibility, it was Crayton's for not shutting his damn mouth this year. Other than his one catch on the jump ball over a bad corner, he had a much worse day than a guy who decided not to have surgery for the PROSPECT of coming back this year and helping the team. That's dedication, and as long as he's got that fire I want him back.

Glenn is done? maybe, but he made a few plays today. Sam Hurd wouldn't have done much more being honest. I think it all comes back to those mental errors, penalties and drops killed us today.

When Crayton dropped that 3rd down pass, I just knew at that moment, we were going to lose.

I said it then, that play of all plays decided the game. I may hate Crayton for the longest time b/c of that drop

Crayton was the liability. He flatout CHOKED.

Glenn will not be back.

Ferguson will not be back.

Adams will not be back.

Reeves will not be back.

Thompson will not be back.

Neither Julius nor Nate will be back.

Akin A. could very well not be back.

Glenn didn't do much, I cringed when I saw him cut on a few plays, that one where Romo threw a laser and it was almost picked was some of Glenn's work.

Dude I actually agree with that entire list... I sure hope Roy Williams won't be back either. (Hey, a guy can ONLY hope )
