Was this the quietest road game in Cowboys history?

We're not participating next year ,yay!
But we'll be back
"LONDON – The Cowboys won't be part of the NFL's International Series in 2015, but team owner/general manager Jerry Jones sounded confident his team will be back in London at some point."

I guess the league wants to rotate and give all the teams a chance to play overseas.

I'd imagine it's tough to get really amped when not only are you not as familiar with the rules as most Americans would be, but you don't have your own team to cheer for. If the NFL ever did put a team there, I'd be willing to bet that place could get pretty damn loud.

There was mostly a Jags crowd, or at least a Cowboys hating crowd. 3rd down was loud for the Dallas offense.

As Heisenberg posted, the majority of the crowds in London are not watching their team, added to that their are a lot of fans that are new to the game so the noise is not going to compare to a game in the US.

To be far, I was in Dallas last year and sat in the club seats and there were as many fans there that didn't make any noise.

I found it kind of humorous at the end when the stadium crowd started booing when we took a knee. It was very typical of strangers to the sport. They wanted to see continued action, regardless of the practical sense it made.

 That's funny. Didn't realize that. I was too drunk.

As an english Cowboys fan who has followed the boys from across the pond since 1983 (when we first saw highlights of games) & who has spent thousands of pounds(even more dollars) travelling to watch the Cowboys play at Texas stadium once, AT&T 4 times & at Lambeau I am in a good place to comment. Let me put a few things straight in reply to some lame poor comments posted above. Firstly 85000 fans turning up every game no matter which teams play is impressive & shows fans in the UK DO know what they are watching! Another point to be made is yes the Jags were the home team but this was London not Florida so in a crowd of what must of been around 85000 again there were more neutrals than jags fans so of course the noise will be affected you cant all be that dumb!! Last night there were a large number of Cowboys fans inside the stadium however there were more neutral fans than Cowboys. On Dallas 3rd down plays there was plenty of noise from the Haters wearing patriots, niners, eagles etc jerseys & when the Jags had possession the Cowboys fans made every effort too, I was there & believe me the noise in the first QTR was loud but as the game went on the noise levels dropped from the neutrals obviously as it was becoming a one sided affair. There were loud cheers on Dallas completed passes/TDs as well as good runs because believe it or not when your team does something good you cheer/celebrate especially on Offence, there was no Dallas fans making noise when Romo was under centre fact! we are not thick!! Instead of mocking the UK fans you should be appreciative of the numbers that turned up Saturday & Sunday to back your boys! Yes we do get your game, we understand it & enjoy it, fans like me dont pay thousands of pounds to travel across the atlantic & watch something we dont understand! You have issues with your home crowd which is well documented on here so maybe the real fans who actually go to games can help resolve that but to me theres far too many who sit behind a keyboard talking trash who dont even go to games so who are they to comment? Iv had a great weekend getting up close to the players saturday, hearing them interviewed etc they all clearly enjoyed their time here which showed on the pitch last night. I took my 11yr old son who was awestruck at seeing his team play live in our country & to see a performance like that made him the happiest boy around despite getting home at 1am. Get used to the NFL being played in London because its not going away anytime soon. Tell me how many teams get 85-90,000 fans each home game we all know the answer. Final note - Please stop judging us UK fans as dumb when it comes to the NFL there are thousands of us that watch it every week including the Thursday/Sunday/Monday night games which show here live 1am-4.30am. Next time im over I will question a few of your so called soccer fans on our football then laugh in your faces at your lack of knowledge :)

Ps Dan Bailey explained on Saturday that he grew up a soccer fan & supports Aston Villa so yes he did get loudly cheered for kicking a long field goal, Problem with that?

I had a fantastic week

Went to see four radio shows live, and met DC.com people i have watched and listened to for years. All of them (Eagleton, Eatman, Dennis, Spagnola and especially Broaddus) could not have been more friendly and all said they were taken aback by the strength of the fervour of the UK Cowboys fans

I went to the fan rally saturday, and got to see Irvin and Emmitt up close, which is only Akman short of ticking off a bucket list item!

I took my son to the game. I roared myself hoarse, i talked smack to people in front in Commanders jerseys who wanted to bring it on and i had the time of my life

just a shame my following of the Cowboys has to be long distance

of course there are some people in a UK crowd who don't understand forward progress, taking a knee etc but ask yourself, if you went to that game as your first exposure to the NFL, as a neutral, which team would you go away supporting? the Cowboys of course

it really is quite embarrasing to see the Jags stuck down the throat of the UK NFL fans.

It was very quiet. If you noticed late in the game tony and Orlando were talking on the sidelines about how quiet the stadium was. I even think I made out tony saying that he liked it.

I'm a Brit who was there yesterday (my first live game). As Pompey has said the problem (if there was a problem) was that there were fans from every team there so many were watching the game rather than supporting a team.

For what it's worth I loved every minute of it and can't wait to get to a 'real' game in Dallas next year or the year after.
