Maybe the QB should be able to throw a td there? Running qbs are trash if they can’t throw. Maybe we’re trying to coach him up in a meaningless game. Most of all, maybe the rpo doesn’t work.

Like I said, so easy to criticize a play that doesn’t work.

Maybe you're right for that specific play sequence but my original point was that McCarthy is the main reason our RedZone offense is so terrible and it was just another example of what we've seen all year long.

It was a terrible throw. We've seen other QBs make similar throws. We've seen Dak get overexcited and under throw easy first downs and overthrow easy TDs.

Yes, and yet who makes excuses of "he was too excited" for Dak?

If the QB make a terrible throw, it should be called out as a terrible throw and not a bunch of excuses.

You miss the point by a whole football field. Second in mvp means he had a great season. As I recall, he was neck and neck until the last couple of games, even being favored by some.

Points be dammed, he was close to winning an mvp and had a great season at worst.

As I said, it doesn’t matter now does it. He had a bad year this year. He did not follow up. There was no point to miss.
