I’ll make just 2 points about the defense and Parker to consider.

• We all expected too much in one off season with new players and rookies, all learning the system.
• With injuries and rookies, and lack of depth, I think Parker is smart to keep the defense somewhat basic to avoid constant mistakes.

Play smart, play somewhat conservative. Expect the offense to carry the day. But hopefully if we get healthier and more experienced, by November, maybe we will see more trickery.
