If hes available in free agency i take him day one

the upside is too good...

however....hes REALLY good at run support..and hes really good at stopping screen plays

however a #2 pick theyre expecting 15-20 sacks a year and constant pressure and he hasnt done that against good-great competition....

but...the upside is good if you can get him on a team friendly deal

No thanks we don't need more injury prone players

What do you mean you take him day 1? Taking him day 1 means paying top dollar. is that what you're wanting?

Does he become a name to keep an eye on as trade bait during the draft? If Washington is ready to move on why delay the inevitable? I could see a deal based around Chase Young for Jonah Williams make sense. What about a Chase Young for Trey Lance type of swap?

To think Washington could have drafted Justin Herbert instead of Chase Young.
I forget what year it was, I thought Washington was going to take A QB and they did not. Probably the year you're talking about. These teams are their own worst enemies. They're not in QB hell for so many years for no reason.

On not picking up his 5th year option. The new CBA made it expensive to pick up a 5th year option. So it doesn't surprise me that teams are electing to not do this. Then come to an agreement after the 4th year. Besides QBs and outstanding players, it's more favorable to not pick up the option.
