Yup. The rivalry is dead, as far as I'm concerned, until it's Boys/Skins.

I’m not arguing the ratings aren’t good. I’m saying the rivalry not being as good is due to a lack of playing meaningful games because they rarely are playing each other with the division on the line or in the playoffs.

It has nothing to do with the name change.

I've attended were at RFK. I was at the game in 92 when the Cowboys blew a 2nd half lead, which infuriated Jimmy to the point of refusing to feed the team on the flight home.

A friend of the family had season tickets so I attended quite a few games there in the early 90s. Place was a dump but you couldn't beat the atmosphere due to the fans and proximity to the field.

Yes that's the Benning road area. I grew up over there. During game day there should be police covering that area though.

I just dont recommend walking from the Minnesota avenue area on game day. All bets are off then.

My family was friends with Jack Kent Cooke's family so they attended a bunch of games as well.

Although I'm certain they will sell naming rights, it would be great if they can tie-in the "RFK" name to the stadium. It's a rather large real estate (about 180 acres) project that will consist of large scale mixed use development.
