The who? This thread is about the stadium move and NOT the old name of the Commanders!
I kinda like it because I can call them the Commodes.Doesn't change the fact they still have the worst nickname in the league.

Yup. The rivalry is dead, as far as I'm concerned, until it's Boys/Skins.
NFL knows where their ratings are best. Why do I get the feeling we will be opening their stadium on a primetime game?
Yet even when both teams stink, people want to watch them play. The rivalry is mostly dead because both franchises are mid to suck for 30 years now.
Yeah, they're tearing down the old one and building a new one there.2030 !! are they rebuilding the stadium?
Yet even when both teams stink, people want to watch them play.
Some of the best gamesI moved there from Texas when I was 5.
Played many of high school football games at RFK. Happy it’s back
Yeah.... that's very good advice lol.Yes that's the Benning road area. I grew up over there. During game day there should be police covering that area though.
I just dont recommend walking from the Minnesota avenue area on game day. All bets are off then.
The stadium was something else. Some of the best games
I've attended were at RFK. I was at the game in 92 when the Cowboys blew a 2nd half lead, which infuriated Jimmy to the point of refusing to feed the team on the flight home.
A friend of the family had season tickets so I attended quite a few games there in the early 90s. Place was a dump but you couldn't beat the atmosphere due to the fans and proximity to the field.
Let’s dontGood, now move the Cowboys back to the Cotton Bowl.
NFL knows where their ratings are best.
And get our butts kicked like Texans.
He did it once before.Does that mean John Riggins is coming out of retirement?
I wonder if they’ll build it so the stands bounceYeah, they're tearing down the old one and building a new one there.
