We want Washington to win. Since the Cowboys already beat them and have a one game advantage over them in the standings, a Washington win (with a Cowboys win) will have the Cowboys in sole possession of second place.

Plus, since the Cowboys have a game remaining with the Eagles at home, if they handle bizness it would mean a two game lead on the Eagles if both teams win out after Sunday. Even if the Commanders win out they still wouldn't be able to catch up. (In a perfect scenario of course...)

Exactly right! It benefits Dallas for Washingtom to beat Philly. Philly is the better team that, like Dallas, has good offensive numbers but sruggles to win. Both teams can swing it around if they start winning. If Philly beats Washington (a divisional and conference win) that could give them the spark they need to move forward; if they lose, it could send them into a downward tailspin. And that's what Dalas wants because even if Wasahingtonm wins they're simply not good enough to go anywhere.

It's a tough decision but I think I want the Deadskins to win because when it comes down to it the Skins are a terrible football team whereas the Eagles have the potential to do some damage. The skins have been terrible all year and had the biggest fluke of a win against us that I've seen since I've been watching football.

The Skins season is all but done but the Eagles are hanging by a thread. Another eagle loss and they're all but done as well.

Of course this all depends on us taking care of business on Sunday. Imagine if we lose and the Commanders win. The Cowboys, Eagles, and Deadskins will all be sitting at 4-5. Pretty disgusting thought.

Since division wise, Philthy is 1-1. Deadskins are 1-2. So it would help us more if the Deadskins beat Philthy.

I still like the tie though :D

The Skins need to lose because a loss there and they can officially cancel the rest of their season.

:hammer:

I'd much rather have the skins officially eliminated from the race and not give them a 2 game winning streak in the division to build off of for a run. That is what happened last year. It's not like they were a good team when they went on the 5 game run. It was more of riding the confidence wave and catching teams at the right time. Once the skins are eliminated then we can start focusing on Philly's self destruction and then the Giants.

I really think that if we can win our next 2 games we will be in position to take the division. Talent wise I see us as a much better team than the rest of the NFCE. All we need to do is get focused eliminate mental errors and build some confidence (i.e. develop the swagger).

When you live in the DC area, you have got to always hope the skins lose. Or you can not listen to sports radio or watch the news as it gets pretty disgusting.

On the other hand when the lose, it is so much fun to listen to the pain and anguish.

OK guys need some help. Who are you pulling for? Washington who with a win gets back into the race at 4-5 or a loss to pretty much fall out of it at 3-6? Or Philly who with a loss would be looking at 4 losses in a row and drop to 4-5 or with a win 5-4 and still very much in the race?

I'd prefer Washington to win. That would put both teams at 4-5 and still long shots to go to the playoffs. Plus Dallas is 1-1 against Washington, but 0-1 vs. Philly.

The down part is if Washington wins you've got to believe they are going to have momentum. The good side is that Philly should beat Tennessee the week after and would then be 5-5 (with Dallas likely to be 5-5) two weeks from now.

If Philly wins, at least that pretty much all but eliminates Washington this year, so we can point and laugh at Skins fans. ;)

Plus, after the Tennessee game Philly has a brutal stretch of games. @Indy and a 3 game road stretch @NYG, @WAS, and @DAL. They also still have to face Carolina and Atlanta

So I really don't see Dallas garnering much of an advantage regardless of who wins the Skins vs. Eagles game. But more importantly they have to beat the Cardinals first.
