Washington releases DT Jonathan Allen

His play has been declining the last couple years. Wasnt a possible shortened career the reason why he fell in the draft

I dont know if he is a full time player anymore. However, Id love to have him as part of a rotation. Especially if we drafted DT's on day 2 that arent expect to be instant impact guys

Had shoulder injuries. Think he’s already outlasted the longevity predictions.
That said, this is a hold your nose signing if you couldn’t resign Osa (for some other team than Cowboys)!
Think they would have gone the draft route!
So not sure what’s the point of continuously up dating this player!
Wanted him in the draft badly and disgusted that he went to Washington!

He was released bc they used a second round pick on Jerzhan Newton last year who started most of the year next to Payne while Allen was out with an injured bicep. They saved 16M cutting him. He's going to be a good player somewhere.
