That mostly true. Sleep can come on without warning, but you know you're tired before you got behind the wheel. The key me was, to not get behind the wheel when tired. I haven't had another issue in over 25 years.

The problem is when you go on long drives and you're not tired to start out. Then get tired on the road. It's not always easy to recognize, and you don't always get the warning nod. I just don't take long drives. As you might have guessed, I used to have a problem falling asleep at the wheel.
I understand and you are right. That's why i said mostly people know and there are signs but most ignore them. It's the opposite of what was originally commented though is why i gave a response.

Hopefully you get over your problem with falling asleep, it can be dangerous for many reasons
