The problem here is that Rivera might not want to leave Chicago for anything other than an HC position -- Obviously Rivera would be a great choice for DC. I know the Bears are cheap but winning a SB can make you a bit more generous.

I am hoping several million will change Rivera's mind.

Whether or not Turner is our future head coach had nothing to do with today's events. Norv Turner was in Miami cause his brother Ron Turner is the OC for the Bears and wanted him there; similarly when Norv was the Cowboys OC and we went to those 90s SB, Ron Turner was there for those games. Also as somebody else said, Aikman called Norv Turner asking him to attend the HOF conference cause Aikman knew Irvin would like it.

Notice Brad Sham and Jason Garrett were also there along with Jerry Jones (and his wife) & Norv Turner.

If you think this isn't significant, you're fooling yourself. No way there's a shot like that with Jerry and Norv otherwise. Jones is a master with the press; that was pretty orchestrated.

I think it is pretty obvious Norval is the guy now. I dont buy this "Norv as just celebrating with Jerry".

So with Norv and Garrett on board, I really think we go hard after Riveara and Jerry will give him a couple of million to forget about being HC for awhile.
