I'm guessing Turpin is being handled slowly, to allow him time to adjust to his relatively new environment. Here's hoping he'll be turned loose vs. the Eagles, assuming he's ready to step things up a notch or two.

He is averaging over 12 yards a punt return. That was always his place. Using a guy under 160 pounds on offense is playing with fire

herein lies some of the problem tho…if we had sprinkled him in to packages semi frequently or even here or there the defense has to account for him just based off his speed alone. Now he can’t be out there every down he’s too tiny but I do think they could have come out and run some jet sweeps, tosses,screens etc every once in a blue.

Turpin is not being protected. We just have a dumb offensive coordinator. You don't put a guy in, to catch the ball and run as fast as he can toward defenders that are running toward him, and call that protection.

Moore is Garrett and Garrett has always held his fastest players back.

I think a lotta guys can field punts. They are paying him too much to essentially not use him at all. I'm thinking he's on the field about 10 plays every game and at least half of those are on kickoffs when he watches the ball go into the end zone over his head.

I can’t wait for him to return a punt for a TD Sunday night . I agree KM has moth balled him as a receiver . And with NFL kickoffs practically from midfield the only chance he gets at a kick return is if the Jets and Zuerlein show up and Greg booms one to the 5

The Eagles punter is really good at dropping punts inside the 10 yard line and getting them to bounced back instead of into the end zone. Turpin will have to take a big chance if he decides to run one back.

Getting Turpin involved in the offense is a must imo.

It’s stupid to not use that speed. He’s a huge distraction for the defense just by being on the field because he’s that dang fast.
