Wassup with Turpin

The little vatto has some juice and we need the speed. Dude can be a game changer in certain spots I believe...
Maybe they gonna spill some Turpin on the dirty birds as a surprise. I been thinking that every week but it ain’t happening.
I wanna see me some TurpinTime....

Turpin’s last season in college, where he was a below average receiver at best, was 2018. He’s been in purgatory playing in summer leagues and Europe the last four years before appearing in the joke reincarnation of the USFL. Being really fast is irrelevant in a league where everyone is really fast, and it’s your only skillset. His ceiling is as a gimmick player, nothing more and there’s little chance developing beyond that!

The problem is, you'd have to put him in a lot of plays that aren't screens, otherwise it'd be too predictable.

Being small as a WR is fine.

Small guys are better at creating separation.

I don’t think anyone is asking him to go be a star player but he has a deep speed and run after the catch element that needs to be utilized.

Crossing routes, anything quick that gets the ball in his hands, and of course anything deep.

Also, just faking the reverse and giving to Zeke could create space for Zeke.

Can't wait till Moore is gone. He doesn't know how to use our players. Turpin should be on offense at times. Unleash the kid!!!! How about throwing to Pollard and not Zeke!!!

ask Coper rush i mean how many targets can you have throwing so little and the fact Brown and Gallup are playing well with Lamb.. not like we are putting it up 40 times game.. Turpin will get shot we needed btu we are a run heavy team at this point, ran by backup who has us bottom 10 in many category's, so well one ball , hes not needed ..is 4-1 suggest we need him severely, YET?

secret weapon will get lost in the mix and one game maybe very important game Moore will have package for him when the defense is least expecting it,

All these threads about him being the next Devin Hester got ahead of themselves. Usual preseason overhype. But… I did think we’d see something more by now from a guy who managed 2 return TDs in one game, even if it was a preseason game. I’m sure we’ll get at least 1 TD if he stays healthy, and yes, I’d like to see 1-2 plays where they just run him on a deep route to take advantage of his speed and go for it.

He's in the NFL now. NFL speed is different from USFL speed. Shrug.

He's a returner, and he hasn't had the chance to return many yet.
