Wasted draft pick? Aaron Rodgers has reportedly been "spotty at best"

Texas Longhorn players are babied in college and it shows in the Off. and Def. lineman.

You know, with the possible exception of Demarcus Ware, I'd trade anyone along Dallas's line for NT Casey Hampton (A former Longhorn) and feel I came out better because of it.

David.

Wow you mean another team, other than the Cowboys, blow draft pick?

Amazing.

I hope some folks here on this board pick up on that... And you know who are! ;)

I don't think he coached Mirer.

Green Bay might be where Quinn ends up.

Maybe Favre can teach the kid how to throw 29 interceptions.

I believe both Hampton and Shawn Rogers are recruits from the previous coach before Mack Brown.
I'm a die-hard Longhorn fan and have read in 3 seperate draft previews/preseason mags that the perception is that Longhorn players are treated like royalty and have a country club atmosphere in Austin.
Mike Williams so far is a bust as an off. lineman and look at how far guys like Johnathan Scott, Rodrique Wright and Will Allen fell. I think Allen has already quit the Saints.
I think Young and Huff are going to be great players but the lineman are getting tagged with a stereo-type in my opinion.
Blaylock-OT has a chance to break that trend in the next draft.

Shaun Rogers SHOULD have been a Cowboy if not for Jerry's Jonesing for Carter and Dixon.

it is only rodgers' 2nd season. and don't forget that he came out one year early from cal. even at cal, rodgers only played about 1.5 years before going pro. he was actually lightly recruited coming out of butte jc before tedford saw him on tape while recruiting his teammate garrett cross (who i believe is/was on the GB practice squad). he was lights out but would have benefited from another year at the college level.

but the kid has been proving people wrong at every level. give the kid another year or two before you pass judgment. as you know, qb is the most difficult position to develop. he's got a gun and a super quick release.
