There actually is a legal concept whereby someone is justified in using force against someone who is deliberately targeting and harassing them so I am not surprised there were no charges.

He didn't get charged because he is Buzz Aldrin, no other reason. If you or I did that, we would be charged. Furthermore, if you punched Aldrin, you would be charged.

He didn't get punched for just what he said. It wasn't only the words. It was everything. The guy was harassing Buzz. He ambushed him first, kept getting in his face and was following him around. That is more than just voicing one's opinion.

Not necessarily. Like I said before, there is a legal concept whereby if someone gets in someone else's face and verbally assaults them, a punch can be considered self defense.

Aldrin was clearly trying to walk away and that other guy was clearly following him. I think 99% of policemen who arrived on the scene and saw the video would let us go if that was one of us.

Not as amazing as believing that no one has come forward with proof it was a hoax even though they could make millions and millions of dollars by doing so.

You have to have a conversation with some of these conspiracy nuts. Not just the moon landing stuff but some of the other stuff. It will blow your mind at the lengths and levels of stupidity they will go in order to continue to think it is a conspiracy in the face of everything saying it is not. It is astounding.

In short, special effects tech was not sophisticated enough to fake a moon landing!

Going to the moon was ahead of it's time...we pushed ourselves to beat the Russians...don't know when anyone goes back to the moon.

I wonder why this guy follows Aldrin around when there were 11 others that also walked on the moon.
I mean, there were several different trips by different people to different locations on the lunar surface.

At a guess he believes the first moon landing was a hoax but that they have subsequently been to the moon? Don't think many people really believe that they haven't been but there is a lot who think the first one was staged for political reasons.
