Hey x. I don't really wish to disagree too loudly (because we all loved Aikman and are excited about Dak)His approach to the game is similar to Aikman, IMO.
Aikman didn't force it and would throw the ball away when needed. He kept his INTs low and worked really well with a strong running game.
Romo was more of the Farve mentality of try to make a play even if it's risky.
None of the above 4 are similar physically (arm, etc..), but approach to the game is similar as described, IMO.
, but I feel the need to point out...that regardless of how it seemed, the facts are that Romo threw interceptions at a much lower rate than Aikman both in the regular and post season.
And this with far worse overall teams.
I thought It was possibly so and I looked it up to confirm it.
The one caveat is that the defenses could get away with more back then.
I totally agree that Dak is far more cautious though. With the team he's on, I do think its easier to have that mindset...though he seems to have it anyway.
Lucky to have him for sure.
