It was really cool the first 30 minutes then it just got repetitive. I still haven't beat dark souls 2.
Shoot, I still haven't beat Dark Souls 1
. Trying to kill the initial knight in the ruins and the merchant in the castle didn't get me off to a great start (don't play while heavily intoxicated type game
). Had to reboot the game 3 times from mistakes like that and the proper way to allocate upgrades, etc. (endurance and vitality). Now have rebooted it the third time and am still relatively early into the game but finally doing it the right way. Really enjoying this type of experience (hardcore: learning by identifying the-weak spots via dying and using some personal innovation). It is refreshing in comparison to the hand holding experiences that are so common in the majority of titles.
