After the awsome Cavs/Celtics game last night I watched the replay of the Cowboys at Giants from last year and a couple things jumped out at me.

I hope Terry Glenn returns because the strongest part of Crayton's game is the slot. He repeatedly got open in the slot and the Giants didn't seem to have an answer for it. It got to the point where they were manned up on Terrell one on one so the safety could help out with Crayton.

And Roy Williams was getting the short end of the stick. The Giants would put Shockey wide and Roy would have to basically play CB. Not many safeties can cover Shockey one on one. I don't understand that scheme at all.

I think Zach Thomas is going to help Roy out alot with his underneath coverage ability. He's much more instinctive in passing situations than Akin ever was.

I'm impressed that you could stomach a repeat of that game. Hopefully the players are looking at it and learning from it.

Dallas won by 11 points. It wasn't that terrible.

I watched that game as well. Giants really ran the ball pretty effectively against us in that match up. Short yardage was brutal. They had a chance to win that game at the very end. We got very lucky on a holding call on RW that really was away from the play. Giants would have scored a TD on that play. Instead, they got called for it and that pretty much forced a FG. Giants are a good team. If they play error free football, they are tough to beat. More times then not, they do something to beat themselves, looks like to me.

I'm pretty sure that the only significant thing Boss did in that game was to get called for a holding penalty when Bradshaw ran a kickoff back to the Dallas 2.

It was the Week 10 game, not the playoff game.
