I agree with everything you said.
I forgot add that if you look back at the 3 best NFC teams last year only one stayed healthy at the end…

We lost Pollard and the next game the Niners lost Purdy and that sealed both teams fates.

Life’s not fair and neither is the NFL, sometimes ,lol

Health is as big a factor in playoff success as anything. Usually, the top 3-4 teams in a conference can compete with eachother. Who wins hinges largely on coaching and injuries.

The title of the thread makes it sound like the defense has been a joke. It hasn’t been funny to watch. It’s been fun to watch so far.

It’s been fun but we won’t know how great it is until we begin facing better teams and or QB’s.

If it can shut down SF, Phi, Buff, and Mia for example then we’ll know it could carry us to a Super Bowl.

I'm still trying to understand how the Jets managed to score a touchdown.

Here we are, two games in, and Dallas is giving up an average of 5 points a game. That sounds like a stat from 1930.

Next up are the Cardinals, and I'd bet they cross the 50-yard-line twice, if at all. Probably only if we turn it over. Then New England, who will be the most impressive offense we've faced to date, which is disturbing and hilarilous at the same time.

So heading into 49ers week, how many points will the Cowboys have given up by then? I don't see the Cardinals managing more than 9 or 10 points. New England perhaps 14-17. Maybe.

It's 70-10 right now. Could it be in the neighborhood of 130-30 soon?

There just aren't many teams built to withstand the swarm of this defense, and virtually no quarterbacks that won't panic under the avalanche of it all.

But's fun, and funny, to watch.
Yes, the days of running to the restroom or grabbing a bite while we’re on defense are over. Now it’s strictly commercials…

My analysis is Lawrence is beating his man, but Micah is so quick he gets to the QB first :)
