Way Too Early Season Prediction

My prediction is a lot of negative threads like this one, to keep us entertained.

The season will go as far as the depth goes and the depth is not looking that great so far.

I've got us 2-5 after the first 7 and all hell breaking loose at that point.

2-5 start? The only question at this point would be does Jerry swallow his stupid *** pride and then dump McCarthy midseason or does the old fool just keep him as coach because he hates paying a coach to sit on his couch at home.

The problem with Dallas is they as so thin as certain positions. They have good depth at TE and Safety. I think they have decent depth on the OL. But I think they are thin at LB, DT, DE and CB. Sure they have bodies in camp and some will even make the team. But in certain positions if there is an injury or two they are going to be starting unproven players and hoping for the best.

This is the NFL. Injuries happen. We already lost Sam Williams which means Fehoko or Kneeland has to step up. Or Golson if they move him back outside.

If CeeDee doesn't come back, or if he pulls a hammy they are really screwed.

I just think being so thin it will hurt them during the season. 7-10 is a generous prediction IMO.

Maybe this is what they need too. Maybe another top 15 draft pick will put them in position to get a guy that will make a big impact on the DL.

The only position where depth is a concern is WR. Not adding a vet was a huge miss - but there's always a chance that Tolber steps up in a big way I guess.

Otherwise, their depth is basically the same as the rest of the league. It's not as if there are a bunch of teams who have 4 quality DTs

Yeah man, I see 2-5 as a real likely outcome looking at the schedule. I think after that point the wheels come off.
