Wayne TD was on TNew

Yeah, heard the same thing. TNew would've caught an INT as well, but Roy decided to come in and hit TNew, dislodging the ball. Roy must've been in a hitting mood Sunday cause he smacked Henry in the head pretty good.

That wasnt the 1st time RW hurt henry. I cant recall the game but I do recall Henry taking a shot to his side by RW this year.

I think that had more to do with the play design and a great pump fake by Manning then Wayne "burning" Newman

I think it's a little bogus too, since Newman wasn't even covering him for any length of time, but whatever

Newman nearly had his head taken of during the game & the crossing patterns fooled him, he didn't get smoked so there is no shame in it.

Bill said that TNew bit on the fake screen. Same thing happened last year against Carolina

I don't really give a flip. The Colts were held to 14, and while Marvin made one big play on Newman, he wasn't allowed to be a major factor in the game. The standard that Newman is held to is ridiculous that he has to absolutely shut out Harrison or never give up a TD, otherwise the "naysayers are right". When Deion faced Irvin and Rice in the early 90's, its not like they didn't get theirs.

It wasn't on Newman last year, it was just the same type of play. That one was on Willie Pile. Newman was on the other side of the field.

Good riddens for this little streak. Really, it wasn't a huge deal. Now we can just sit back and watch him shut down the league's top receivers without worrying about which TDs were "his fault" or not.

I said same thing happened last year. I didnt say it was Newman last year. Worded the way BP said it actually

I figured that was the case when I saw BP talking with Newman on the sidelines after that play. Overall though I was very pleased with the job that Newman and the secondary did through out the day.

I think that's why it wound up being a touchdown...;)
