We’re Still Facing An Elite Defense Next Week

Sure, the game became a lot easier for our defense, but we’re still facing an elite defense ourselves.

If the offense can’t get going it could be a low scoring game either way. I think the Jets, like most teams do against us, will focus on making our pass game beat them. The difference with the Jets and most teams is they actually have a defense capable of doing that.

I’m hoping we can force some turnovers and get the ball into very favorable field position a few times to take pressure off the offense having to drive long distances.

As of today I’m seeing this as a 20-10 type of game in the Cowboys favor.

As a complete team, we just destroyed a division rival on the road and in inclement weather. I think all of the NYJ being elite talk can just simmer.
We closed out the Giants in the 1st quarter.

Except the Jets have CBs. Unless we go nuts on offense, their defense will keep the game tight and they will stay committed to the run game, something NY couldn't do after our defense scored twice quickly and things snowballed. I don't think there's much chance of us losing the game, but I don't think we are going to run away with it like we did against the Giants.

22' Eagles was a great defense and we hung 40 on them, unless you gonna reach to downplay them in some way. Come to think of it, a Dak lead team didnt play many top 10's last year...
