There was no way we could beat Denver = we almost did
Most said we would lose to DET = we almost won
Wash, NY and Philly would give us fits = we won all three

This upcoming NO game will not be worth watching, we should be down by 20 at the half = we will keep it very close

We may get six TO's again and win or we may pass, pass, pass, run, pass so on and so forth. If I was a professional handicapper, I would refuse to cap Dallas games, no matter who and where they are playing.

There were 2 or 3 games this season that needed a new, fresh game-plan and NO is the second one. I expect Dallas to come out guns blazing like against Denver. The usual plan of attack will not work here, as the Den game, and they will attack differently. With that said, still no idea who wins but it will not be a blow-out, either way.

Garrett will want to show up Ryan's defense to show the right guy was fired and Ryan will want to embarrass our offense. Both angles seem asinine to me but I have to have something to work with.

Dome game = no wind = many Cowboy fans there = familiarity between these two teams..........................

(S)aints - 28
Cowboys - 31

or

Saints - 34
Cowboys - 30

Either way, the over comes in and Dallas covers the spread. Want to make some money? Parlay the over(52.5) and Dallas +7....bet the same amount on each bet......example: 50 on Dallas, 50 on the over and a 50 parlay = $230

Hard to believe Brees isn't going to shred our defense.

The only way that can be avoided is to put intense pressure on him with just a four man rush and keep the TOP in your favor by running the football to keep him off the field. That is how the Jets beat them.

Given the fact we are struggling in both areas, there you go.

Let's be honest here, Rob's defense down there is nothing to be afraid of. Remember, Romo practiced against it. Chris Ivory & the Jets defense beat them.... And Eberflus(sp) was his right hand man and he's still in Dallas & he knows robs weakness's.

Im just wondering if they will set records. The total yards for a game record is 735. Im guessing 4TDs and 500 yards at the minimum against this D.

And this O line better block because Our Ex Defensive Coordinator is going to put a ton of pressure on Romo. And once they get behind and get one dimensional ... he will turn up the pressure even more.

I´d love that, kind of how Belichick put Talib on him the whole game and he didn´t have a catch. But unfortunately Garrett would never do it, you have to think outside the box once in a while and clearly Garrett doesn´t.

edit: I just saw many had mentioned it earlier, anyway, that´s the way to go.

How is this Garrett's responsibility??

Why would Garrett overrule his defensive coaches when his background is on the offensive side of this ball??

Do you think Sean Payton overrules RR? Or Mike McCarthy overrules Dom Capers??

Plenty of reasons to criticize Garrett, but the hate has gone way too far.

LOL I'll grab the 7 points but I'm a little worried about the total. Everyone and their brother was on the OV 54.5 against the Eagles a few weeks back and that missed.

Liking the Ravens as small home dogs coming off the loss, Harbaugh should have boys ready to go and the Ravens at home are generally cash money.

NO will get at least two-thirds of the total and Dallas knows going in that they will have to keep up, kind of like against Denver. I like Balt too, might as well make it a 3-game parlay :D

First of all I didn´t say it was his responsibility, I said that a good HC could oversee those kind of things, after all he is in charge of every aspect of the game.
And when I used Belichick´s example is because he did exactly that, I don´t think this was his responsibility but he made the decision.
Here´s a link to the story in case you are interested:

http://www.providencejournal.com/sports/patriots/content/20131013-patriots-secondary-pitches-shutout-on-graham-but-talibs-status-a-big-concern.ece

Graham had gained more than 100 yards receiving in each of his last four games. The 6-foot-7, 260-pounder is listed as a tight end, but plays more like a wide receiver. The fact that Talib was asked to guard him normally would be an unusual assignment for a cornerback. But Talib has been asked to cover the opponent’s best receiver in every game this season.
“You’ve got to try to do everything,” said Devin McCourty, who picked up the assignment on Graham after Talib was hurt. “The guy’s a great football player. A guy with his size and athleticism that can line up inside and outside, I think that’s what makes it tough.”
It was all part of an unusual defensive plan put in motion by Belichick. The Pats came out using five and six defensive backs. At times the team had four cornerbacks on the field and only one safety. At other times they had three safeties. Often, there were two rather than three linebackers. On some plays, the team used only one linebacker.
