Maybe this is true.

The point of my post is a reality check.

You can rationalize about the Eagles loss as meaningless..

but I think it was meaningful.

It set the attitude this team went into the Packers game with where we fell behind by 21+ points.

Add Denver and LA to that string.

Kill the messanger but the message is still the same.
Why did you cherry pick only the last two games? Kind of an odd cut off point.

14-7 in our last 21 games.

An equally meaningless stat.

I give everybody the only stat that really matters, one that is not cherry picked, but is written in stone....................1-2

That is our record in playoff games since Jason Garrett was named head coach.

Love the sig..

didn't realized I cherry picked..

Explain?
You chose a time frame of the last two games of last season. Had you chosen an equally random time frame of 4 games from last season the record would have two more wins. The fact that we didn't play starters in one of the two games picked is another issue. Overall, picking these games provides a stat that is not reflective of anything. It seems as though you are using these numbers to make a point, but when the chosen numbers are picked in order to prove a pre-determined point, then it's cherry picking rather than evidence.

Last year is utterly irrelevant with the turnover we've had on defense. I am assuming that your point is that we are not good enough. This year alone, the Denver drubbing, squeaking by AZ, and the Rams loss is enough to prove that. We have problems.

Thanks for compliment on the sig btw :)

The losses you mean?

Thats just me.

We are all analytics here.

But we all analyze different things.

I recall my college courses about trig and my philosophy courses.

They taught me to analyze numbers and to draw a conclusion.

2-4

Those are the numbers.

Draw your own conclusions.

Help?

Cool..

Do not read any agenda in my reply other than your true answer per moi.

The finale at Philly was a throw away game quarterbacked mainly by Mark Sanchez.

So I would go back to week 16 vs. Detroit last year and say the Cowboys are 3-3 over their last six regular season games of consequence, but that's me.

That's where you have it backwards. You drew a conclusion, then picked numbers to align with that conclusion. That is - by definition - cherry picking.

Cherry picking, suppressing evidence, or the fallacy of incomplete evidence is the act of pointing to individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position, while ignoring a significant portion of related cases or data that may contradict that position.

dating back to our last two games last year with Philly and the Packers..

and now this year.

I won't total up all the points against us in those contests.

Its too depressing.

Other than the obvious..

should we be looking at things differently before its too late?

Comments?

This is one of those "if you look hard enough stats" you will find it. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEACH!

Any playoff team that doesn't win the superbowl starts the season in a hole with your math.

Also counting the game where we sat starters is just mental
