I am still lovin that win against Philly.

We are close to being a Super Bowl team. I think the Boys get in the playoffs this year and will win 1 game there.

There is only 1 reason I think we will not get to the Super Bowl. Our offensive line. It is not a good OL. It is not even average. I rate our OL as not quite bad nuff to suck.

This OL can not open holes for the running game or run block at all. They have a hard nuff time with just pass blocking.

I have said this before in this forum. In the 2006 draft DO NOT be surprised if all our 1st day picks are used on OL.....and we use some FA $$$ for it to.

We have no real center. That is the thing we need to hit the most. Serioulsy if there is a beast at Center in this coming draft then that is where our 1st round pick has to go.

I know everyone thinks a draft with lotsa OL and FA with a little more OL would be boring but we will all love it when we have a much better OL.

In the 2006 draft we will not be high nuff to pick a top WR or something like that so lets use that 1st rounder on the best OL there when we pick. Same for 2nd round.

If this running game is gonna work it is as simple as this.....the OL we have just will not make it happen.

Parcells will do to the OL like what he did to the DL last year.....BOOK IT!!!

We are a good OL away from goin to the Super Bowl. :)

I wouldnt be surprised about that either. I think Parcells drafts a lot of offense this next year and OL is one of the top needs. OT in the first is also likely, there are a ton of talented guys coming out this year.

After watching last night, we are far from a lefit SB contender. Playoff contender? yes. Divisional contender? Yes.

However, we are not ready to compete with Carolina, Indy, Pittsburgh, etc. on a consistant basis yet. We are too inconsistant

We can easily take Carolina.

Take a look at who they have beaten and hwo almost beat them. GB, Detroit. ect.

When people say we need a tackle are you saying right or left? I like Robs potantial and I think he can be a stud. And we have a lot of money in flo, so do you want to trade/cut him?

I really want to see some 3rd to 6th round gaurds, youth and depth is needed, I think Rivera may be done after next year

We have Denver coming up soon. That will be a huge test as to where we are with the AFC.

I think we are closer to a SB contender then you think.

You would be surprised at how much better our offense will be when BP makes huge changes on the OL.

Lets put it this way. You wont like to hear this. But if we get Terell Owens and improve the OL. We will be a Super Bowl team. Best part is...it can be done.

Right now NO team is gonna get a easy win against us. With a better OL next year it could be that no team will beat us.

We are close. I can feel it.

If we sign TO, I will not watch Dallas for as long as he is here.

You think I'm joking.....

Pardon me for disagreeing with you, but I do believe that we have an equal shot at the NFC despite our weaknesses. And yes, I do believe that we can hang with Pitt, Indy, and any other team you throw out there.

EVERY team has its weaknesses, deficiencies, etc. I always laugh when fans are quick to point out our weaknesses, and why we have no chance to win the Super Bowl. The NFL is no longer about having the best players playing in all positions on the field. It is more about covering up your weaknesses by preparing a good strategy for each game. Also, it is about preparing a strategy to exploit the other team's weaknesses.

Look no further than the New England Patriots. They are a team that clearly focuses on strategy vs. personnel.

The game has changed, and this is no longer 1992.

I know this may sound crazy, but I think we have more of a shot this year, with our team the way it is, then we do next year if we improve. And when I say shot, I'm talking about going all the way, aka winning the Super Bowl. The reason I say this is because of our game against the Eagles. I will admit, we looked like ****. But the way our team rallied around Parcells made them dangerous. And a dangerous team usually wins over the "talented" team.

I very easily could be wrong. But I will tell you one thing, I am definately looking forward to the next few games. Go Cowboys!!!

Drafting for NEED? Isn't that the draft strategy that got us into a huge mess to begin with?

No thanks. We need to take the best player available, even it that means another DE. You can always fill other needs in free agency.

As long as we have a shot at the division, we have a shot at the SB.

This is today's NFL. I don't think there is a team in the NFC that we cannot beat...even the AFC save for the Colts.

We are a year away from having a dominating team.

I am not sold on the Colts just yet. I think the clock strikes midnight on Cinderella this weekend, and truthfully, they may lose a lot of games during the second half of the season. The Colts have gone through the easier part of their schedule, and the only two decent teams they have beaten are New England and Jacksonville (barely).

The Flozell injury was definitely a blow, but I still like our line. Bledsoe has had sufficient time to make clutch plays with his big arm. The running game and shoddy play calling have been the real enemies. We are still 6-3, and alive for homefield throughout the playoffs if we finish real strong. Parcells teams have always excelled during the second half of the season. We are a complete team relatively healthy with depth at key positions. I like our chances.

For some reason, I don't think BP sees center as a primary need. I could be wrong, but he hasn't rotated Gurode in for Johnson in awhile. If he were that unhappy with Johnson's play, I think Gurode would be getting some more snaps like earlier this year. I think Bp has grown comfortable with what Johnson can do and has adjusted to his talents.

Carolina...their opponents have a record of 30-51. It's probaby the easiest schedule a team has had this year (except maybe Indy). Dallas would be 7-2, 8-1, or 9-0 with Carolina's schedule.

The rason we aren't a Super Bowl team. I think if our team showed up, we COULD beat Indy, Cincy, Pittsburgh, and definately Carolina. You don't get to or win Super Bowls on that though. You need to win at LEAST 3 games to win the big dance. Is this team really ready to put together 3 strong performances in a row against top flight competition? That has yet to be seen. Overall our youth will keep us from the Super Bowl this year. If we can add a few good FA's, some nice draft picks, we will be a real force next year.

Next year this team matures. It will have gelled. There are so many new starters, and yes the chemistry is starting to come together and things are gelling, but I just don't think they are ready this year. Anything is possible in the NFL. Problem is, save for some good play the last 5 minutes, we would have failed yet again to string together 3 straight wins. We BARELY pulled it off in the regular season, under way less pressure. Sure it was a big game, MNF, and it pretty much looked like alot of the players who were stepping up earlier, took a while to get into it.

Though this team dominates alot of opponents, it's the truth, our O-Line woes this year aren't going to help our cause. We will be in the playoffs, but in the playoffs you don't have the liberty of playing against Arizona...

But it is true, if you win your division, you have a pretty good shot at making the Super Bowl. The NFC honestly does not have a team that stands out much more than any other. Carolina has a flashy record, but it's not like some of their games couldn't have gone the other direction. If Kris Jenkins was in, I'd buy it.
