When a Kicker starts missing a lot of Kicks they call it the yips. I have no idea where it came from but it has been around for years.
I think the yips is actually when you like hesitate or something before you do anything physical. Golfing is where I've heard it the most...I don't think missing is necessarily the criteria...though you wouldn't notice the yips without it :laugh2:

The word "yips" was started in golf. It's a nervous reaction that causes a golfer to miss real short putts.

#9 will continue to dominate, the OL will do their job, the RBs will keep running ...comes down to the ...

WRs.

While it's not just one player or position, the team will go as far as the offense allows it. It all starts with the QB in this league. And a QB needs an OL to be able to do his thing. And he needs WRs to do his thing, too.

This team is a "pass receiving specialist" away from being dominant. That's assuming stopping all the stupid penalties, getting good play calling and execution and performing in the red zone as well as the rest of the field. It's not a simple answer.

When you run a 3-4 you can't neglect the front 7! But I'm sure if the Eskimos want Oline Jerry will be happy to get them some!
