Don't throw in the towel till you've seen the RZ defense, thats where KIffin will earn his money.

That's what I expect. Bend but don't break. I think our defense could be the kind that our offense has gotten all those yards between the twenties on.

I agree. Counting on the health of three 30 plus guys and 29 year old was questionable.

Apparently, it's questionable to count on young guys like Bass and Crawford, too.

So basically, it's questionable to count on anyone on the roster, young or old. Guess we are officially in the Clowney sweepstakes.

The Giants OL is as banged up as our DL. They may run the ball a bit-- but where they have KILLED us in the past is with huge plays in the passing game.

Kiffin's trademark D features 3 things: Few big plays, great RZ defense, and lots of turnovers.

As for Sun night-- our offense has more matchup vs their D-- and it's not even close. Dez vs whoever, Austin will see one on ones, Witten vs Connor? With Leary and Frederick starting-- our interior OL will be stronger and stouter than the last few years. If by chance Waters is ready to play-- suddenly, Murray may have a ton of room between the tackles.

The NYG secondary and LB corps are average at best. Their DL is tough-- but we've hung a ton of points on them even when we've had crappy talent on the OL.

I think Romo comes out hot, Dez and the passing game will have success, Murray and the ground game wears em down in the 2nd half-- and Kiffin's D has enough fight and tenacity to make Eli earn every point.

We have a bunch of things to look forward to this year.
But at least right now, the team's fortunes seem to have a very hard cap on it based on that dline.
3 of the top 5 dline players are out.
Still, there is a strong LB group behind them and a good offense to buffer it some.
We'll see, and hope Spencer and Ratliff eventually get back later in the season to kick this into overdrive.

I'm not concerned about the run. I'm concerned with Eli killing us through the air again.

Giants have a tough time running the ball. New LG, C, RT. Brandon Myers cannot block. David Wilson can have attempts like this -2,3,-1,15,-3,0, 30.

IMO, if Nicks is healthy, Cruz fights through the physicality that prevented him from getting open in Dallas and the Oline holds up running game will not matter. It's going to be a shootout.

Hmmm, Cowboys weak spot is the d-line...ummm yea, i would put it to the test. As long as the game is close you will see a lot of run, plus Wilson is explosive. I could see him having a huge day.

Memory isn't perfect but I think they only gave up 2 TD's in the RZ during the preseason. It's a set back to be missing so many starters and potential starters on the D line but it can be hidden by fast starts and an early leads that force the other teams to pass. Thats ALWAYS the plan but it actually has a realistic chance of working this year with a healthy Austin and Dez finally catching on.
