CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
The miserable fans are the people like Mr. Shiner beer, who gets SUPER MAD at strangers' opinions on a message board. Imagine letting something said online by someone you don't know, and have never met, raise your blood pressure. There COUNTLESS examples of his posts that display how miserable he is. Just because people don't think the Cowboys will do much doesn't mean they're miserable in real life. They're the ones that watch a loss, then move on with their day.
The miserable ones are the one that continue to whine even after a win...they find no joy in the game...I saw many of them up close and personal when I was a coach. They are comical and sad at the same time....wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire.

so if the playoffs started today we would go to Tampa
New york goes to san fran
and wash goes to minny is that correct?

So say washington and we won then wed go to san fran the next week assuming they took care of the giants? Think Id rather got to Philly
The only way we would host a game is if all 3 NFC east teams won?

I know theres alot of football left just playing scenarios out in my head

Making the playoffs used to be the minimum acceptable standard.

So anyone celebrating this basically thinks participation trophies are a good thing

Because in this age of expanded playoffs, making them means rather little.

I expect Cowboys do go out and win, why are people happy they made the playoffs? why are any fans happy to see their team in the playoffs. Why are some fans still hoping their team makes it? Yes I'm happy to be in post season because without making it to post season there is 0 chances of doing anything. Even in the 90's I was happy to be in post season with hope of making it to the SB.

Making it to post season is a big deal not just Dallas but the rest of the teams. Teams play a 17 game schedule with the 1st goal of making it to post season I'm sorry. You and othersd unhappy about post season that is really on you guys. As I said I want more than just a trip to the playoffs that is not the ultimate goal, just the 1st goal in a season

You can't win the playoffs if you don't get in the playoffs, so in that respect I'm happy about it.

Like others, I'm starving for postseason success. Right now, I am not expecting it. We'll see.

Reminds me of a coworker at a job long ago (mid-90's); she was being persued by another coworker whose approach started out ok - but because he wanted to get in the sack right away - he eventually turned her off.
With that rejection, the guy preoceeded to be boorish at every opportunity he could.
She told me later - " if George fell to the ground if front of me in a seisure or with a heart attack, I would step over his body and not look back - and not motion or say for anyone nearby to help".
