Until we change coaches we really don’t know what we have...

The o line is not good this season so far. The secondary is probably the worst I have ever seen. The D line has been better than expected, but still horrible against the run. We are just an average team overall. This is why you do not dump your entire secondary in one off season and try to replace them with inexperienced players.

LOL

So out of that, here are the realistically "good" players

I'll grant you Dak so you don't go on a 5 page fit. Zeke. and the O-lineman. I'll even give you Lawrence.

Dez Bryant you admitted is MIA yet you still put him on the list, Brice Butler a 1-2 catch guy, Beasley has been MIA for most of the year until today. You then have Irving who has been criticized for being inconsistent, and Paea (LOL)

There are Butler's, Paea's, Irving's on every team.

So, right now, we have 3 solid offensive line players, an RB, a young QB with a lot of players you consider "good" but are huge question marks?

You have to be complete dope to think a team has many more top tier talent than we do overall. What do you want??! Get a life dude...

The team overall is underperforming, but the season isn't over yet. You are just being an emotional little B... name one team with better talent all over the roster?

Again...a team coached better, we can argue that all day and we'll probably agree most of the time.

What did he do in the third? How about most of the 4th? Was he not to blame on that pick 6?
Rogers had the ball for 11 minutes in the third quarter, did you watch the game? Do you know how many teams scored 30 points today and lost? Answer one Dallas. Most teams scoring 25 or more points today won, actually most teams did not score 30 plus points and still won. I have to believe you are being sarcastic. Teams don't score on every possession, they go through dry periods.

Maybe the title of this thread should be "We have the worst fans in the league. They don't even watch the game."

400 yards and 30+ points at home the last two games, both losses. Only two other teams in the ENTIRE NFL have done that this year altogether. LOL

If that doesn't point to a glaring problem, I don't know what does.

Better teams with better roster - righter in our own division

Commanders (when healthy)
Eagles
I'd even argue Giants have a better roster of players, especially on defense (O-line is awful)

You then have Falcons, Patriots, Green Bay (when healthy), Chiefs, Vikings, Broncos, Seattle, Panthers, Lions. I'd need to go into more depth, but I believe Jaguars, Texans, Titans, Rams, and Raiders

I'm looking at our team as a whole - we do not have the players to win many games this year. I see us being very much like the Ravens and Saints.

I didn't like us doing this either - I understood letting Claiborne go, but still would have rather had let Scandrick go than Claiborne. Claiborne at least showed us some upside, Scandrick is what he is and he's not even the player he was in 2014 (which wasn't great)

Church was kinda run out of town - considered a "JAG"

You get we were the team keeping opposing offenses off the field last year, right? All it has done is shifted onto us.

You want to have the ball more on a drive? Do better on offense rather than playing 2 quarters, which we did.

Yeah, let's compare Dak to crap QBs with bad accuracy to prop him up...

You see, when Rodgers is off the mark, he's not putting the ball in position to be a trip drill. Good QBs don't make these Tebow like trash throws within 5-10 yards. It's one thing not to read the defense well, it's another to throw the ball off the mark at that range.

It was a bad throw and there is no excusing it. You want to say another part of the team is worse than Dak? Look at my thread title and original post - I specifically stated every other part of this team is bad. I actually called Dak mediocre while stating the D might as well not be on the field.

Anything else?
The timing of your post is off, Dak played a outstanding game today, first thing Tony Dungy said on Sunday Night Football, was that Dak has improved over last year, but the Dallas defense is poor and that it would cost the team. If the Dallas defense played close to Dak's level today, they would have won the game.

I would like to see the area Dak has improved and I think if Dungy was pushed, he'd be hard-pressed to explain how.

I just don't see that those teams have exponentially better talent than we have. Some have more talent on Defense no doubt but the league has a lot of parity. A lot of the teams you mention have superior coaching. It's a factor that you don't seem to want to discuss.

So what you are saying is the Dallas offense must score on every possession and in every quarter. I got you that way the defense doesn't have to get on the field(obviously I'm being sarcastic) But you still didn't reply to the fact that no team other than Dallas lost while scoring 25 or more points today. Do you think those teams scored on every possession and in every quarter? Chances are those teams have better defenses than Dallas does.

We may not score on every drive - but going 3 and out and hardly driving a field doesn't help either. Our defense wasn't GREAT last year, we simply controlled the clock. We're not doing that on offense this year - you think we are playing well for 4 quarters, we're not. We sputter and then seem to find some heat late.

This is a 4 quarter game - we are failing at it.

Our coaching staff has been underwhelming, but we still don't have a lot of talent on this team. We lack true special players - if you removed Dak from the picture or didn't view him as a franchise guy, everyone on this board would say this team needs to be rebuilt.

It was the same when we had Romo. Romo was also here when this team was needing to be rebuilt, we just never called it that because he was our franchise guy. This defense may not be 2013 level, but it could become that pretty damn quick.

Gee Captain Obvious...why don't you just wish up a perfect scenario and they'll get right on it every week? EVERY team should have a defense that can stop the opponent more than once...at home...after scoring 30+.... not every season is going to be like the other. The goal is to have an overall team. We have an Offense and Kicking game right now with Sean Lee out and pretty much a clueless coaching staff. It's a recipe for 8-8. Not "one of the worst" in the league like your emotional little girl first post.

What needs rebuilt great franchise builder? Are you saying jettison the whole OL and DL and our new young secondary guys? Get rid of Bailey? Demarcus Lawrence? David Irving? Zeke? Just throw the baby out with the bath water eh? You sound like a complete dumb#$%%@....

So he's a best player on a team that is playing at a low or mediocre level? Who else is playing at a high level? Him being the "best player" is not a compliment when everyone else around him has been awful to just okay.

When you call someone a "clown" and make a claim of posts being bad, I expect a well thought out argument. You can use as many ad-homs as you want, I just expect SOMETHING before it that counters me.

Now, you can get on it and show me how that throw was accurate.
Teams scoring 25 plus points today were 8-1, guess who the 1 was? There were also several teams that scored less than 25 points and they also won.

Again, when we went up against a solid D, how did our offense do?

Lee isn't going to fix our problems - actually, our D had one of it's worst games with him on the field...

I don't want to hear about other teams draining the clock on us. Stop with quick 3 and outs in the second half and you can control the clock. We are failing on both sides of the ball. We've been tested by one good defense this year and looked like the Browns.
