If WR is our biggest issue, I would for some one to explain to me how other teams in the league without super stars at WR are able to pass for 275 plus yards on a consistent basis.

Having weak WRs doesn't stop the Seahawks from passing the ball and making big plays.

Other then M. Thomas the Saints WRs are mediocre at best.

The Rams lost 2 starting WRs yesterday and promptly passed it down the field their next 2 possessions. Guys schemed to be WIDE OPEN.

The Colts without Ty Hilton, 2 other WRs on IR and still managed to throw for over 275 yards.

The Raiders WRs aren't anything to write home about, yet they are passing for 321 yards per game.

Baltimore is throwing for 300 yards a game with Crabtree and J. Brown as their starters.

Hell even Bortles with their Dollar Store WR group is putting up 293 yards passing a game.

It is such nonsense to sit here and put all our problems on the WR group. They aren't great and there is no individual stud but they are more then capable of making plays, especially with all the attention Zeke is getting and the way the rules in the NFL are set up.

It only takes one receiver to not be mediocre. Get the hell out of here, we don't have mediocre receivers either, take the blinders off, we have S%%% receivers, there is a BIG difference. Is this a running league or a passing league? Oh so doomed from the start...

"Other than Michael Thomas." Good one.
Let's look at those other receiving corps.
Raiders: Cooper or Nelson would be our #1 WR, Cook would be our #1 TE.
Ravens: Brown, Crabtree or Snead would be our #1 WR.
Colts: Grant and maybe Rogers would be our #1 WR, Ebron would be our #1 TE.
Jaguars: Cole, Westbrook or Moncrief would be our #1 WR. Seferian-Jenkins would be our #1 TE.

Here's the thing: you're right. Those teams don't have good receivers (except the Saints). But what they have is way way better than what we have.

Edit: Forgot the Seahawks. They've thrown for under 200 yards the last 3 games. Still, Lockett, Marshall and Dissley would probably start for us.

Learn to read, I said we aren't the only team with mediocre WRs.

Other teams seem to be able to pass the ball for more then 180 yards a game with out having stud WRs.

Teams play zone close to 50% of the time these days, there are holes out there to be schemed to exploit, other teams do it on a regular basis.

Wouldn't call them dollar store, the reason why Jax let Hurns and Robinson walk is they have 3 very good WR on rookie deals. Considering how much they are paying a slightly above average QB and what they are paying for that defense they decided 3 very young receivers was the way to go.

First our coach could have helped this situation by giving these new guys all the Reps they could handle in preseason . Didn't happen So we have a QB with inconsistent accuracy trying to establish a chemistry with a whole new WR group IN SEASON .

This is a recipe for disaster orchestrated by Garrett who feared injury so bad he compromised the time these guys got to play together before the season . Please don't anyone say they should have worked it out in practice . PRACTICE PRACTICE in the NFL is a freaking JOKE anymore .

Next up our WR Corp has taken ineptitude to a whole new level by not only NOT CATCHING THE BALL. THEY TIP IT TO THE OPPONENT. NOT THE IDEAL SITUATION TO BUILD QB CONFIDENCE .

Sorry but Im going to beat this dead horse . Coach SUCKS!!! QB inconsistent but more than good enough to win IF PEOPLE DO THERE JOBS just most of the time . OLine is middle of the pack not good enough to make this offense work .
OLINE NEEDS TO WIN ON 1st DOWN PERIOD . 1 yrd = failure need 3 to 4yrds on first down 3rd and 9 = failure . Have to stay ahead of the chains .

Dak and Garrett are not Staubach and Landry We do not have guys that can pull the rabbit out of the hat and create miracles. WE NEED TO WIN BY ATTRITION, without Dominant OLINE PLAY WE FAIL !!!!!

Many teams have receivers that make there QB look good . Ours are so bad they don't just drop the ball but tip it to the other team . Do you even watch the game and see how close these games are .
Tell me if we had Hopkins and they had Hurns we would not have won that game . How cant you see the disparity in talent, Hopkins catches anything that touches his hands our receivers have to have the perfect ball and even then it can bounce off there chest to the other team

Hopkins is one of the best couple WRs in the league there are plenty of teams putting up 75 yards a game more then Dallas through the air who don't have a WR of his caliber.

Our WRs aren't even generating the targets needed to be successful because our scheme, oline and QB are all sub par.

Beasley had 3 targets last game, Austin 3, Gallup 3, Thompson 4, Hurns 3

Zeke, Gathers, Swaim and Jarwin on the other hand had 13 targets because of all the check downs etc.

Hopkins had 13 targets by himself. Coutee and Fuller had another 10 targets.

do we have a qb that can see a good receiver when he's open. once dak gets pressure he loses his vision of the field. do you even watch other qbs? The texans qb was better than dak, and was under pressure all game. Dak is a backup nothing more.

We don't have any so it would be tough for him to see one . Watson did look better because he had a receiver that didn't have to have a perfect ball and could make plays. Dak is all we got .

Unfortunately, we ARE the only team in the league with a GM who cannot be fired.
