I don’t see the point unless we are unloading players for draft picks. The gulf in talent between us and SF is too great to overcome mid season. They are better than us at every level. Barring some catastrophic SF injuries , there is no point mortgaging the future in a futile attempt to salvage this season.

yes but it would be nice in the coming weeks to look for a dynamic linebacker to trade for losing LVE and the fact that we passed up on Wagner TWICE and watching those dudes play and fred warner we need a linebacker... a similar need on defense like the move we made in 2018 for amari cooper... a linebacker like that could be a good leader and effect soem positive change in the defense from the backside..

now as far as the offense goes i think schematically & the play calling needs to change. . i believe we have the players they're not utilizing them right this is too conservative. also, tony pollard should not be RB1..you can keep that in his title but changes need to be made in the RBBC rotation Dowdle, hunter and other need to take the harder carries from TP so he can get back to is skillset of fresh legs and explosive plays..

also we'll finally get to see deuce ON STs and worked into the offense that turpin was running.. sux to see him hurt but i believe DV is very similar and can slide right in and be a factor.

The west coast offense relies on at least one big physical WR. They need to get one or this offense is cooked.

actually there's a reason that Gallup was improving the last few week over a few games he can be that guy. but in my opinion, that's a bad move to think about bringing in anther WR, just switch up the play calling... adjust the scheme use a different part of the paybook or turn the play calling over to schottenheimer.

we have enough wide receiver talent on this team at WR, we need to do is utilize them better... they simply are not getting open they are not schemed open and not being used properly. if there's ever a time for jerry jones to butt in is have talk mike mccarthy about this very thing. improve or move over ORDER....

possibly - but they aren't winning the division so it means at best a wild card team - my point is if the inquires keep coming and the qb play is still bad then i could see this team approaching 8-10 losses by years end. I don't think thats unrealistic given they have the hardeset schedule in the league

There isn’t any moves we can make to keep up with the 49ers. It’s going to be them and Philly, battling for the Super Bowl in the NFC. The Cowboys have already given up a couple of picks with moves they made. They need to hang onto their draft picks for next April.

What moves would you make that actually would move the needle?
Adding talent is great but at what cost and who is there you could get and does it makes sense. Trading a top 3 round pick for a guy in the last year of his deal means you either have to pay him or he walks next year. What’s the cost of paying him and if you don’t does it actually make sense
