The Stinks brought their 'A' game. Ok, that's cool...but a 'C' game won't beat IN, NE, GB or even Detroit and NYG.

My biggest question is this: Where is the vaunted Wade Phillips 3-4 pass rush? Are our players THAT ill-suited for it? I thought Spencer was supposed to be a studmuffin? I don't think he made a single play yesterday.

I hope something clicks into place for these dudes. Those top tier teams are going to spank us if it doesn't.

Ok, I was trying to be civil. Woeful ignorance is saying 'Stats tell the whole story'. No, they don't. Having a monster sack game against a pitiful team and their backup QB and then having one sack versus your division rival and their gimpy offensive line would make one THINK that we are sack-happy.

No...5 sacks against a crap team and one against a decent team doesn't mean you are a fearsome sack machine.

On the other hand, I've seen every game the Commanders have played this year and you guys definately brought your "A" game... as teams always do against the elite teams.

yes, I believe it's possible for a football team to come out flat for a game while the other team is pumped and firing on all cylinders, who wouldn't.

If by believing that crap, you mean do I think the Cowboys intentionally came out and didn't play well thus "brought their C game" no, I don't believe that at all, but I do believe you're taking the analogy way too literally if that's what you believe people are talking about.

Hmmm interesting, the Commanders are no Patriots. Their offensive production this year against weak teams shows that one really good game against a tough opponant is the anomally not the trend. If they were notorious for their offensive fire power like the Patriots are, I would say "We played a tough opponant" but sadly that is not the case. The Commanders played their Superbowl Sunday and lost.

So maybe it is you who should cut the crap.

EVERY TEAM CAN PLAY BETTER AND EVERY TEAM CAN PLAY WORSE. Stop playing this what if scenario. I could go back to any game and say "If we played better we would win".

Since you are a Skins fan I will go slow:

A game = Passing, Rushing, Pass Rush and Coverage all played to the best of the players ability.

B game = One phase lacking (i.e., crap pass rush but all other phases were excellent)

I think you can figure out the rest.

Cowboys had Good passing attack and a decent pass rush. Coverage was too soft, running game was almost a non-factor, hence, we had a 'C' effort.
