hes not a good blocker but receiving wise hes great i wouldnt get rid of him
Some fans seem to be enamored with this guy, but I’ve seen enough of him.
How many times have we heard “…if Schultz can just make that block?”
Don’t like his effort at times and his blocking is inconsistent at best. He’s reliable pass catcher that adds little in terms of being a dynamic threat ala Kelce, Waller, Kittle, et cetera.
He may end up commanding top free agent money for some team looking for a walk-in.
I’m all for letting him go.
They are not going to have a choice but to let him walk. They have a ton of issues and/or other priority FAs.
If he is commanding top dollar let him walk, otherwise, sign and and draft one, maybe pick one up in FA.

Sure. With all that cap space…

TEs who block well generally aren’t very good.
Kelce, Andrews, and Kyle Pitts… Can’t block.

Man i was just wondering why Schultz didnt muster enough manhood to block a top 5 defensive end in the league. Good point lets get rid of em!
not saying sign a blue chip FA...bring in a middle of the pack type and see if you can coach em up...
I'd rather trade you for a can opener.
I agree. Unless he signs for a reasonable amout. Some fans seem to be enamored with this guy, but I’ve seen enough of him.

Until he has to block. It’s the blocking that he gets knocked for. He’s been one of our better players this year. He’s had an excellent season. Why some fans are knocking him is beyond me. He’s not a great blocker but he moves the chains.
But they are dynamic receivers. That ain’t Schultz.
