We can still make the playoffs

I know it sounds nuts but look at our competitions remaining schedules:

ATL: vs Vikings,@NO,@TB,NO,CAR let’s say they go 2-3 they’ll finish 9-7. I can see them losing to the Vikings splitting with NO and losing Car.

Seattle: Eagles (L), @jags ? , Rams, @Dal, Cards
We’ll have Zeke back and they play the eagles , Rams and @jags I could see them losing at least 3 games more importantly if we beat them.

Lions: @baltimore , @TB, Bears, @Cincy , GB(with Rodgers) ravens and bengals are both playing better and @ home those will be tough for lions. Need them to lose 3 games.

So basically if these 3 teams lose 3 games and we win out we can make it.

We have the Skins, Raiders,Giants, Seahawks (Zeke back), Eagles(may rest starters)
If we can get on a 3 game win streak skins , raiders, giants we have a good shot IMO.

There is no way that the five teams in the two divisions that are 8-3 and 7-4 have more than one team that MIGHT fade to 10-6. AND THEN it would have to be one of the teams that have not already beaten us.
Mathematically is the only possible reason to cite this. In every other way we are out of it.

I know. But the schedule does not bode well for this team. I just don’t see us stopping the Commanders Thursday night. 7 losses at that point? Put a fork in them.

Do you REALLY want to see this team in its current state of disarray back into the playoffs?

Not to be a downer but is just making the playoffs enough? We really don’t have a defense good enough to go deep, the roster depth, an experienced QB or a coaching staff seemingly capable... I understand the thought of just getting in and ‘anything can happen’ but without at least a couple of those things, do we really think we can run to win a super bowl this season?

It’s kind of just enough to say “let’s continue heading in this direction because we made the playoffs”... Romo carried this team as far as any one man could repeatedly and it hid so many problems that the FO didn’t even address them because “hey we made the playoffs”

It seems worse than 2015 with 4 blowouts of 20 plus points or more. This team is on pace for at least two more blowouts. Without Lee on Thursday it very well could be #5

You know it might be good to make the playoffs just to get Dak and other youngins some more playoff experience. As long as they don't lose like 35-14 it should be a beneficial experience. If it's going to be 45-7 it's probably better off they don't make the playoffs.
