I can't even begin to express how ridiculous I believe it is to spend a 1st on a running back. The only saving grace was that our pick was so late, so I can force myself to think of it as a high 2nd but to trade up for a RB? No thanks.
, significantly- which would be costly.
There's simply no way he lasts to our pick, especially considering the backfields of teams picking ahead of us.
I'm predicting he's gone by #20.
Yea, my bad- this thread was more about the availability of Gordon at #27 (or, lack of, rather), than it is an endorsement for trading up. Would like the pick if we got him but I, too, don't believe trading up in the 1st for a rb is necessary... I don't think he's a realistic option for Dallas where we pick (unfortunately).

I'm not certain that I would draft Gordon even if he is available. Gurley is the only guy that I would want to draft in the 1st round.
I felt the same way until I really focused in on Gordon.I can't even begin to express how ridiculous I believe it is to spend a 1st on a running back. The only saving grace was that our pick was so late, so I can force myself to think of it as a high 2nd but to trade up for a RB? No thanks.
Seems to me like there is a great deal of talent in the late first. I'd really hate to trade out and miss some of that.I think we trade out of the 1st round and position ourselves in the top half of round 2 for a running back.
Of course this is just a guess, Predicting actual draft happenings is like playing darts in the dark.
