I actually think DQ would rather stay in Dallas than be a head coach somewhere else. Look at what happened last time he did the same switch. He has a really nice job right now, with a really good group of players, why would would he stink that up to go somewhere that's probably rebuilding with more duties assigned to him and probably not be able to call defensive plays?

I don’t think we lose Quinn unless it’s the perfect situation for him. I think Dan enjoys where he is and what he’s doing, and not for nothing if Jerry wants to pay him the fomo money he will. What he and MM have created here isn't easily recreated elsewhere.

Not sure he'd want another HC job. If he's paid here like a HC and has a D like this, why leave? Extra headaches for no extra salary isn't a formula for a happy life.

I haven't seen anything like that defense last night since the Jimmy era. I think they sent notice to the league that they are the meanest dogs in the neighborhood.

Dan Quinn is the architect of this and we already had to back the money truck up to his porch to keep him. Back that truck up again because he's going to get money thrown at him as soon as it is contractually legal to do so from every direction.

This is a dynasty level defense coming of age and gelling in front of our eyes. Don't let Quinn go. He should be the next Head Coach of the Cowboys. McCarthy could potentially retire on a SB win if that were to happen this year. Quinn would be the best possible replacement in my opinion.
The minute after we lose our first game you'll be the first one who wants to fire Dan Quinn.

Would be a travesty of epic proportions to ever let Q leave, his coaching standard has changed this entire team.

Quinn was reasonably successful as a head coach in Atlanta but he was not a better head coach than Mike McCarthy. So you wouldn't be upgrading there and you still would be losing Quinn as a defensive coordinator. His defenses in Atlanta looked nothing like what he has here.

Be careful what you wish for. You should be hoping to extend this current situation for as long as you possibly can.

Yeah well I have faith in the fact that Jerry Jones will pay these guys enough and he'll have them under contract where they can't leave.. That's the thing about contracts they belong to the owner they belong to the team just as the players do so you can't take everyone.. By the way these players aren't stupid if Dan queen gets a job somewhere and he has to like get it turned around it might not be immediate they might be leaving a good situation for a worse situation and I think they're about money and winning so they would stay here
Jerry can offer up enough money that it would be really hard to turn it down.

He is the absolute lynchpin to team success no doubt.

LOL, a little too early to be already talking about DQ.. It is a free country so he can do whatever he wants, and of course can use it as leverage against Jerry. But HC in the NFL have egos and they always feel they can make a team a winner. If i was him i would stay in Dallas as long as Jerry keeps giving me raises. But DQ may want another chance at HC if a good spot opens up, only he knows.

Let's just enjoy this year first and see what's in store.
