We could be eliminated by time we play Sunday

Atlanta has the early game Sunday. They could have 10 wins by the time we kick off.

I saw tonight we need any NFC south team to lose twice and Det to lose once. It will require TB to win at least one game and I don’t see it happening.

So if we went 10-6 and didn’t make playoffs would you be understanding? 5 game win streak and just fall victim to probably first time in NFC in 10 years at least a 10 win team didn’t get in.

Go Tampa. Go Saints.

TB doesn't need to win if the Panthers and Saints beat the Falcons (which I think most likely will happen, but would only put like a 70% chance of it), but yea, a TB win or two would be huge, might not even need the Lions to lose if that happens I think...

Maybe but I do not see ATL winning @NO

I would be ok with going 10-6 and missing out, although it would obviously sting.

With the unprecedented adversity we went through this year (bogus Zeke suspension, Lee missing half the season, Tyron missing large chunks of the season, the 1st place schedule, gut wrenching early losses to the Rams/Packers, Jaylon's early season woes while playing heavy snaps, rookies all across the defensive backfield, Bailey injury, etc), it would be very promising heading into next year with the Zeke suspension out of the way and Romo finally coming off the books.

We would not necessarily be eliminated.
If Saints or Panthers lose twice, we can get in that way.
But not sure what times they pay Sunday.

I really don’t even care that much about the playoffs since we aren’t winning it all. I’m more concerned with having a winning record for the young team and building a track record of success. Playoffs would be a bonus. The defensive line needs a few new pieces and we’ll be playing in February next year.

If Atlanta wins next Sunday that means the saints lost and we own the tie breaker over the saints if we both finish 10-6.
