Watch everything fall into place except Detroit losing one game. I mean, the Bengals and a Rodger'less GB team at home

unfortunately New Orleans finishes with Tampa who will probably already be mentally on vacation by the time they kick the ball off week 17
Or New Orleans is looking ahead at the playoffs and loses track of the moment and gets embarrassed, how many times do we see that happen? That has a trap game written all over it.

Really, it is probably too late and I actually don't think this team would be 1 and done if we got in!! We'd be re-loaded but there were too many failures this season to get to the second season. Much of it was coaching or lack there of. We just have to accept it and hope things get better. I have a few positive things out of this season even though I am usually a huge debbie-downer. My #1 good feeling is the youth of our secondary. It makes me really happy and hopeful. If we can add a ball-hawking safety and another good linebacker I think the Defense will be much improved. I am very worried about Tyron Smith. We may need to draft his eventual replacement already. It is reality....

It could but with the injuries they currently have and the rumors of the winston-koetter fallout I don't see them putting up much fight in a final week,

I do believe however that week 1 and week 17 are complete wild cards and crazy things happen in both weeks for various reasons.

In that case go Bucs! But I wouldn't count the Bengals out. The Lions can't run the ball to save their lives and running is necessary in outdoor games late-December (especially when you are a dome team yourself).

They are probably shutting him down for the season.
The Packers are not mathematically eliminated, just practically eliminated (they have some of the tiebreakers they might need), if that holds true, why would you shut him down before next week... and if he plays next week, why would you bench him for week 17 even if you are eliminated?

If we win out and dont make the playoffs I am fine with the coaching staff. We worked with through a lot of adversity with zeek being suspended, Lee's I just, jaylon sucking, new secondary and Tyson Smith's injury.
Cooper melding into the oline. Collins at new position there was a lot of coach teaching going on.
I admire this staff. It may not be a popular opinion but they have done a fine job on the run. I expected nothing else

No we won't, if Atlanta wins their next 2 games that would mean the Saints lost, so we would basically be hoping the Lions and Saints lose in week 17, so no matter what, the Seahawks game is a must win.

wow. Did they say that in GB tonight after the game? That would be bad for Dallas.

Doesn't sound like something rodgers would do though.

It is just the word/rumor out of GB. He is not quite healed up but they brought him back early to give it a shot to run the table. Since they lost, word has spread that he is done while not risking another broken clavicle.

Just what I heard, no confirmation yet.

GB is done, best they can get is 9 wins.

So I have a question how can Dallas not win a tie breaker with Carolina? What if atlanta goes 11-5 and carolina goes 10-6 and Dallas goes 10-6

atlanta is the 5. Carolina would be 6-6 in the conference and dallas would be 8-4.

why was I told today we can't win any tie breakers with carolina?

Atlanta has the early game Sunday. They could have 10 wins by the time we kick off.

I saw tonight we need any NFC south team to lose twice and Det to lose once. It will require TB to win at least one game and I don’t see it happening.

So if we went 10-6 and didn’t make playoffs would you be understanding? 5 game win streak and just fall victim to probably first time in NFC in 10 years at least a 10 win team didn’t get in.
No, it does not require anything from Tampa. We need Detroit to lose one of their last two games, and we need Atlanta to lose two of their last three (Tampa, New Orleans, Carolina). A win by Tampa would definitely make it easier, but Atlanta could list to N.O. And Carolina.

You were told wrong, any NFC South team goes 10-6 other than the Falcons we got the tiebreaker... if they both do we might even be the 5th seed... how crazy would that be.
