Like it but we really need a couple stud/difference makers. Some top tiel LB will fall to us and we'll hopefully pick up 2 game changers and upgrade this defense.

Max Crosby is a complete DE. Plays 90% of defensive snaps and is on average only $30M a year through 2029.

Much better option than Micah Parsons. Question becomes what is it going to take to get him???

Absolutely 100% what the Cowboys should do. If they play their cards right, they should end up with a 5 picks on day 1 and day 2 including a 1st. Ideally they work it right they can get 6 picks.

Spend all those on defense please!!!!!!!! Getting 5 or 6 of the top defensive players would make a big difference on our defense.

I would say that’s a plan - if this front office would actually plug the other gaps with FAs.

I like how you're thinking. I'd love to pick up another defensive game changer before the trade deadline when the bottom feaders jump into rebuild mode. Alot of guys around here have been saying we need until the 2026 draft to build this roster, but we could at least be playoff bound if we could find a safety, LB or DL to upgrade the defense this season.

Far too many have lowered their standards so that a division championship or making the playoffs is enough.

I grew up with a Cowboys organization that expected to contend for the SB EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
