Mccathy didnt want him at all.he was adamant about another player(probably a TE) and got overruled by Mcclay and finally Jerry.

The theme of building the trenches early in the draft is refreshing, if Mazi hits, our defense is loaded with maybe a slight need at LB and CB. I think offense will be the focus tomorrow.

Agree with everything, we needed a true NT, he can plug the run and has pass rush upside.

Love the pick at #26 and as you rightly state, I just hope we do not blunder round 2!
