we got him!

I carried a "I would sell your soul for Dez Bryant" sig for most of the season. One of his teammates told me a story about him being inebbriated at ONE practice and I started saying I didn't know if I wanted him. I think I overreacted and I am ecstatic to have him!

A 1st and 3rd is a lot to give up but you got a top 5 player at 24.

1st and 3rd? We traded spots and gave up a 3rd for the best WR in this draft. This kid is a major playmaker to hell with the combines when it comes to playing this game of football Bryant is one of the best

Charles Brown or Chris Cook with the 2nd round hopefully. Burnett and Allen should be gone by then

It wasn't even that. He never talked to an agent. He just met Dieon Sanders which was not against the rules. Problem was he lied to the NCAA about it.

In the end it was all a ruse to fall to the Cowboys.

That sneaky bastad Jones...nice job.

The #2 ranked offense in the league last year just got better. Wow.

So what did it cost us exactly?

Actually, we traded our first and our 3rd for their first and their 4th.

Yeah, the second I saw that NE had traded I was going "please be the cowboys taking Dez" when it was... my wife gave me a weird look when I jumped off the couch.

I figured Den would have taken him once they went Thomas I knew we had a chance and like you when they said NE traded with Dallas I had no doubt who we were getting. This kid is a major player

Indeed. Somewhere all of the defensive coordinators that are on our schedule are collectively balling up in the fetal position.:laugh2:

Swapping our third rounder with NE's 4th rounder.

LEAVE!!!

Just kidding. He will make you his number 2 supporter though when it's all said and done. Assuming he doesn't let the bad influences in his life affect him of course.

We picked a WR in the first round.

I like Dez Bryant.

I didn't think we could get him.

Now we need to trade Crayton because we don't need him, Bryant, Williams, Austin and Ogletree. (And we're not trading Williams.)
Romo is going to have to be fitted with a bionic arm to hit all these targets.

Give him #88.

Get the hell out of the way.
:lmao2: Funny as hell. Whatever number he wears, if he's worthy of #88, he will have one hell of a career. Finally, the Cowboys draft a top receiver in the first round. It has been a while.

I agree, if there is one guy who can make #88 proud, it would by DEZ.....he reminds me so much of Michael Irvin. Including the FIRE....he brings to an offense. We needed that.
