We got our replacement bell cow!

I guess this guy is the biggest investment that counts towards defense and offense. Lets take it back to 2014.

Ok, so we are making the playoffs and possibly winning one game if Romo stays healthy. And our defense isnt good enough to win a championship. Yep, right back to 2014. Short term bliss. Possibly. :yourock:

Draft days 2 and 3 would like to have a word with you.

I was in TGI Fridays last night with a couple of close friends (one being a mutual Boys fan). When they announced Zeke as the pick, we had to look like the two biggest idiots in the place jumping up and high fiving each other multiple times. The adrenaline was definitely flowing. Bring on day two!

Nice! I got to high five the wife as she came into the room wondering why I was saying YEAH so loud!! I said they got the guy I wanted! They got a true bellcow!! Then I high five'd her and she looked at me like I was a dork! I get ya!

Let Elliot earn the job first. Frankly Mcfadden earned the right to start the offseason as the lead dog, let Elliot wrestle it away from him.

I don't think Elliot will be the bell cow. If here I expect our running backs to contribute as well. Dunbar being sort of the Darren Sproles while they still go running back by committee. At least for now.

Agreed.

I don't seem him getting 300 carries this season.

May not even start.

I think he gets about 250 carries and 40 receptions.

McFadden and Morris will each get about 100 carries.

Those g

Those guys aren't running backs. If Elliot gives you 10 touchdowns and 1200 yards why does it matter where he was drafted?

If they get Elliot run him into he ground and 3 years he's done then we don't get value either. This team needed playmakers and grabbed he best one. I don't care what his stats look like especially if he keeps the defense on the field and Romo healthy. That's worth the pick alone.

Agreed.

He's not getting a steady season diet of 300+ carries a season.

If he had 250 carries and averaged 5 yards a carry, you're talking a 1250 yard season.

Tony Dorsett was drafted #2 and did not start the first 4 games of the season.

I wouldn't be surprised if McFadden kept the starter's label.

He may not get the majority of carries but he could still be the starter.

The E Street Band?

Im jumping the E-Train?

lame?

We need a nickname when EE and the OL , starts to rumble bumble and steamroll their way to the SB!

It's not like McFadden was trash. He averaged 4.5 YPC without the threat of a running game.

Tony Dorsett didn't start right away and he was drafted #2 overall.

I would give him the ball 25 times a game, starting game 1.

You would.

They won't.

400 carries for his rookie season?

He'll be a one & done.

Emmitt averaged 15.1 carries per game his rookie season.
