We got outcoached... plain and simple

You know I was really MAD yesterday.... not frustrated... just mad.

Today I am coming to a realization that IF this team doesnt have some sort of enlightenment or something that we are just gonna be an average team....

Too many variables here are not sync'd up

I feel the only thing that will make this season a success is a "spark"

Where will this spark come from if it does in fact come?

The only possible spark can come when Bledsoe is told to sit has 'self' down and make way for Romo.

Great job by BP with the QB position since he arrived......

His nice jolly fat guy routine does wear thin. A

And what is it with him with that half goatie, makes him look even dumber than before.

Not to nitpick but didn't our coach select the QB? If Parcells selected and has stuck with Bledsoe then he is still responsible for the lousy QB play.
That's not being "out coached".

these guys are clamoring about "adjustments" in game.

That is the only time.

EVER?

Really?

Oh, I assume you mean just in the last few years - which of course has nothing to do with the fact that Philly has been a perennial Super Bowl contender and we've been building up after the years we had a lawn gnome for a coach ...........

I disagree. A BIG part of coaching is putting the best possible players on the field, something Parcells has been less than stellar at in his stint with us, particularly at QB.

In his mind, he just needs a veteran QB who won't make big mistakes. Well, I got news for ya Bill, both of the veteran guys you have brought in threw INTs at an alarming rate (both worse INT% than Quincy Carter BTW). That might have worked back in the day when he had a dominating defense and a solid O-Line but it doesn't work anymore.

The biggest "adjustment" Parcells should have made in both the Jacksonville game (by the end of the 3rd qtr at the latest) and yesterday's game (after the 2nd turnover) was to bench Bledsoe and put Romo in.

Im disapointed that there were no halftime adjustments to stop the blitz. Weather that means different line blocking or different playcalling (Shotgun formation, quick slants, pitchouts ect.)

They did run quick slants. Their gameplan was to either spread them out wide and or use quick hot routes to counter the blitz. Outside of the first Bledsoe fumble, they moved the ball well in the first half. Come 3rd quarter, the Eagles seemed to adjust better with their blitzes and we stuck with the same gameplan that got us moving the ball in the first half. Problem was that gameplan wasn't working and Bledsoe couldn't hit a barn door when he did get time.

I think we got out coached. We never seem to be able to make adjustments during a game. We never seem to attack a teams weaknesses.

We will be out coached next week if Bledsoe plays the whole game. It's time to start the transition!

Romo or DIE! :lmao2:

Isn't it pretty rare that we ran the ball so well, but that didn't slow down there blitzing at all? I thought we ran the ball very effectively yesterday, and I want MBIII in on obvious passing downs so he can pass protect. JJ can't seem to even chip a blitzer!

There have been many games during BP's tenure here in Dallas that he has been outcoached.

what team? think of one game in 4 years that BP has really outcoached the other teams coach.

Step 1 - Have thought enter head.

Step 2 - Create thread.

It really shouldn't go like that.

I have a thought! Create a thread to get a response from superpunk! ;)

Make it about the great Frank Gore and you've got a deal.

Here is a crazy idea.

How about making one thread titled I don't like Bill and just post all of the same stuff you have been posting in seperate threads you have started in the last bit of time.

That way we have less of the same and it is all centralized in one thread.

Crazy idea I know, but I think it just may work.

Everyone can blame who they want...but the fact of the matter is quite simply that we got schooled as far as coaching goes.

Max protect? None.

Empty backfield? At least five times, for some ridiculous reason. A sack almost every time.

Not getting the ball in TO's hands? Check. We all know that he can go after the ball if we just get it in his general direction.

Barely any deep balls untill the very end of the game? Check.

I can't count how many times I saw 3rd and 7+ and we just kept doing idiotic 3 yard dump throws.

It is quite obvious. We got completely outcoached. The staff did not have the cowboys prepared for this game at all. You have to play to your player's strengths and minimize their weaknesses, and the staff failed on every concievable level to do this. What a disgust.

No, because he's a decent quarterback if you actually know how to scheme an offense.
