We had 3 starters out, a new C, playing his first game, new RG, Chedoga playing LT and Tyler Smith his first game of the season at LG. When we get all our starters back, we will be fine.
True but all in all they played well enough to win.

This is all on the Defense, RZ play calling, and Dak Prescott's lack of clutch. On one 4th Down and G, he could have walked in if he had just tucked it.

If he's not willing to do that anymore- he is of little value to the future of this franchise.

I was glad Bass go some experience, and OL definitely played good enough for Dallas to win the game, so that's a really good sign. TP got over 100 yards rushing and Rico had some good carries too.

I am more worried about the defense. I thought our defense was one of the leagues best. We looked terrible missing only 1 starter. Though the one starter was probowl blue chip player.

Many of us were exceptionally disappointed that the team did not address the OL in the draft to a greater extent. Been talking about this all off-season.

Bad management. This was so predictable.

The Oline didn't play bad, but the fact that we have dressed, starting olinemen sitting on the side is a huge issue to me. Sends a message we thought this was going to be an easy game and we could coast to a victory and we saw it with sloppy play all day today. We always look like this after big victories. Should have expected a loss after you seen how sloppy the team looked.

The camera kept panning to Tyron Smith....and he deserves an Academy Award for his acting like he wanted to play when deep inside he was cool sitting today out. And Zach Martin and Tyler Biadiaz in street clothes. Three Stooges.

The problem is it's the same issues we always see with this team. They sometimes have no ability to stop the run. And if the Cardinals were smarter, they would have ran for a lot more.

The red zone woes that we saw the first couple weeks were just as bad today.

Dak can't elevate his play when needed. The red zone int cost them any chance at coming back. And it was a throw you wouldn't even expect a rookie to attempt, let alone a 40 million dollar QB. Hes double clutching a lot of his throws because he's scared to throw a pick.

It's clear they've simplified the offense to take pressure off Dak. He's not being asked to force anything. But yet, he should've had a pick 6 against the jets last week to go along with his horrible int today.

And if the defense didn't beat the giants by half time, who knows what would've happened in that game.

If we are in tight games, I fully expect the bad ints to continue.

I was impressed with the way the guys filled in. Thankfully the Cardinals were playing with PS guys up front.

Everybody in the offseason - "No depth on Oline is gonna catch up with us"
Everybody today - "That shouldn't matter"

O line played great in the 2nd half.
Great, no. They were much better in the run game than the passing game. They struggled pass blocking all game, which led to McCarthy limiting the offense to very few routes downfield. They showed early they couldn’t hold up, and Mike didn’t give them many opportunities. The few passes that went downfield were thrown very quickly or after scrambles.

Teams in the NFL have injuries all the time and are expected to compete. This has been a problem before with how Jerrah had build teams where they had good players at key positions but no depth. I don't see how not worrying about a team that lacks Depth is something wise to do.

O line issues are expected with that many new faces playing this week, but the defense let us down this week. Losing is generally a team effort, just like the wins the first two weeks, but getting gashed in the run game the first half was tough to watch. We gotta figure out what went wrong there and get that tightened up quick. I still think we are a much better team than we showed today.

I remember the Cowboys getting blasted by Denver a few seasons ago when they had three players out on the OL. They had us down 30-0 at one point. We’re not going to be fine because injuries have plagued us all season and we don’t show up to play every week. There was no excuse to lose convincingly to an 0-2 team.

Even worse was the injuries came late in the week so the backups had very few if any reps with the 1’s this week or allow the coaches to game plan for them to play.

Cards knew their season could be over if they got blown out or lost. Dallas was just trying to figure out lineups. Perfect storm. It happens.

Defense was much better in the second half minus the 1 blown coverage. Seemed like LVE was having problems relaying the calls in time in the first half.
