We had 3 starters out, a new C, playing his first game, new RG, Chedoga playing LT and Tyler Smith his first game of the season at LG. When we get all our starters back, we will be fine.
What happened to the defense?

I thought this defense was on its way to being a record breaking D. I no longer believe that!!!

Right. Houston has over a dozen guys injured and they spanked the Jags today. What was the reason we couldn’t score TDs in the RZ last week? Our OL was fine then.

This lack of production in the red zone is VERY troubling. I think it’s schematic. I hope I’m wrong.

Practice. The ability to practice with your guys.

Diggs went out Thursday, Same with Biadas, Martin and Smith.

They had 1-2 days prep tops

in the 2nd half I thought the fill ins adjusted and did much better. They weren't why we lost. We lost because the Cards wanted it more than we did. The game plan was sloppy, the prep was sloppy and the game showed this. DQ wasn't great. He put the guys in some bad formations defensively.

They were all there last week and we still couldn’t score TDs in the RZ. On the last int, there was nothing wrong with the pass blocking. There was something wrong with the play that was called.

Those guys did fine today. They weren’t the reason we lost. And they didn’t have 1-2 days to prep. They practiced all week. Martin didn’t practice at all, and the center took first team reps almost every day

Doesn’t matter. Every player is taking 1st or 2nd team reps every day. Our offense inside the 20 needs serious work.

I am wondering if any of those guys could have played. Tyron dressed but didn't play. Biadasz and Martin were inactive. But I wonder if this was a game against a tougher opponent if they would have played? Did the Cowboys take the Cardinals too lightly?

I said after the roster cuts the Cowboys could sustain or or two injuries on the OL. But 3 would be a problem. I believe this to be true for any team. I firmly believe if the OL was healthy the result of this game would have been different. I believe they would have scored more in the red zone. I cannot prove it of course, but I will always believe it.

The Cards started a back up QB and several back ups in their own secondary and still won
Evidently they had an extra player in the secondary with a flag in his pocket.

Smith and Martin absolutely. Biadasz I doubt it.

That is NOT an excuse! For Pete’s sake, I’m tired of us using injuries as excuse! Ravens are injury ridden already and they look good. Packers had lots of injuries today and won against the Saints, who is a respectable team.

Losing to the Cardinals is a sick joke.
Lol the Ravens lost. The Packers choked against Atlanta last week.
