Yes he was responsible for stopping the run when it went his way. That is the whole issue I have. Teams would intentionally run his way because he didn’t focus on stopping the run when it went his way. He only focused on his sacks and pocketbook. He was one of the best at one thing only and a liability at the rest.I’m trying to recall the last time we’ve been so critical of a perennial All Pro and what most considered a generational talent ?
Becoming one of the best pass rushers and disrupters in NFL wasn’t enough. We expected him to stuff the run from the edge as well. lol
And if you’re a generational talent, don’t you think that they should show up in the most important games or not be gassed by the end of the season? The best players in the league usually play their best when the season or playoff game is on the line. Micah was non existent in those situations.
If your eyes tell you something different, then so be it but that’s what mine saw.
