I want zero penalties.

Then we'd better tell Ware to pause a second before he goes across the line of scrimmage, because he got penalized today for being so quick off the ball. I watched it in slow motion on Tivo, and he didn't even move until the ball was snapped, but he got across the line and beat his man so easily that they threw a flag on him.

Flat out, if Ware didn't have a Star on his helmet he wouldn't of been called for that (and shouldn't have).

It's incredibly ridiculous the calls and non calls that have gone against us this year.

I think it's a minor miracle we're 5-1 considering the completely horrible officiating.

HAVE TO.

The players have to put everything passed them from this game.

Put the sorry officiating behind passed them.

Put all the penalties behind them.

Put all the missed tackles behind them.

Put all the TDs given up behind them.

The only thing they need to not put behind them is the anger they have right now (at least I hope they have it). Hold on to that anger and let it all out against the Vikings.

We need to come out and beat their butts early and often. Get the "W", then get into the bye and get healthy. Cuz it's gonna get tough after the bye.
I agree with everything you said, but the officiating.I don't think the officiating was that bad.The cowboys simply got the hell beat out of them by a better team. The cowboys until today have only faced one other team with any kind of an offense ,the giants, and they gave up 35 in that one.The good news is they won't face another team in their regular season schedule,or in the NFC playoffs,as good as the one they faced today.

Bingo.

We need to be 6-1 going into the bye week feeling good because in week 6 we gave the best team in the league hell and made them have to play an A+ game to beat us.

I remember after the draft Duane sent me a DVD covering the draft and Mike Mayock showed a clip of Ware in some combine drills or maybe it was in a senior bowl type of practice.

It was amazing how fast he got across the line after the snap. The ball was snapped but he was across the line before the QB got the ball.

That is good for us but as you state sometimes he does it so fast that the refs throw the flag thinking he is off sides.

Agreed. We go into the bye at 6-1 and then come out of the bye going into the important part of our schedule. Facing three NFC East teams right off the bat with two of those three being on the road.

No matter how good or bad Philly is playing they almost always give us a very hard time. Then we have the Giants who will be looking for revenge and have a passing game that can give us trouble. Finally we have the skins at home. Whether people will want to admit it or not this is not the skins of old where we would sweep them every year.

After that we have the Jets coming in. At this point I have no worries about the jets.

Now predicting that we win the Minny and Jets game...and even if we lose one or even two of the NFC east games.

Going into the Greenbay Game at home we should have a record of 10-1 at best and I would think at the very worst 8-4.

We need to come out against the Vikes and use the anger we should feel from some of the play against NE and beat up on them. Vikes has a good RB & good defense. This is a game we should/must win. We cannot allow our loss against NE to bring about another loss to the Vikes. Romo needs to be Romo, less penalties, more Barber & better use of JJ to take advantage of his speed, and a defense that can bring pressure to particularly stop the run.

Play 8 in the box all day and dare the Vikes to pass. On offense, we have to pass to set up the run. Those DT's on the Vikes are almost impossible to run against.

cuz the williams brothers equal 600+ lbs big boys who demand 2 bodies each which usually leaves a gap for a shooting linebacker or Udeze (their speed rusher)

Like every game, I am cautiously optimistic about the Vikings game.

After that Bills game, anything can happen.

Without that 60 yard TD you're looking at a terrible game from Jackson.

Actually, Jackson didn't really have a bad day at all. The vikings receivers dropped a total of 7 passes and you cant really blame that on Jackson.

You don't think that other teams have been doing this? Every team has been stacking 8 in the box vs the vikings. Granted they don't do it every play because that would be....well stupid.

Why are you posting about the Commanders on a thread about Vikes/Cowboys upcoming game?

Agreed 100%.

If we lose and go to 5-2. The Giants could be tied recordwise by the time we play our next game. We would own early tiebreaker, div & conf advantage.... but thats too close...

They try and make me go to rehab.... I say, No, no, no.....

Haha, yes i am a vikings fan.

My simple take on the vikings:

Tarvaris Jackson - Ridiculous arm strength but not very accurate. Has the ability to scramble which he has shown a little bit of last season and the preseason but has yet to really run this season.

Runningbacks- I think most people will agree with me that the vikings have the best runningback duo in the nfl. Chestor Taylor is slightly above the average running back and AD...do i need to say anything about him. AD is definitely the best back up runningback in the nfl, unfortunately for vikings fans.

Offensive Line - Obviously highly paid and they kind of sucked it up last year but this year it seems like they are actually earning their paycheck.

Wide Recievers - A bunch of no name guys. IMO, the best receiver on the vikings roster is rookie Sidney Rice, who is the only WR threat in the redzone. He has shown to have pretty good hands.

Defense as a whole - Amazing at stopping the run and teams know this so 5 minutes into the game its all passing. And of course when teams only pass against another team they are going to rack up the yards but also rack up the turnovers. It will definitely be interesting to see what the cowboys do.
