Why do you guys think defenses don't get paid lol? Their defense played Dak well..l.the same defense that limited Mahomes to 1 Touchdown and 185 yards lol...

I just don't get some of you guys....you don't give Dak any credit for what he did because of "MVP buzz" lol...but you give this defense the complete pass despite them being considered a top 5 unit. I Don't understand.
They are clowns and have zero ability to change their minds in the face of changing evidence. The more Dak does to prove he's a top qb in this league the more they look for any crack to expose. When you have a simple mind you look for the most basic answers, and scapegoating the QB allows them to focus their hate.

There are times on this board where I hate defending him, but the criticisms are so far over the top and without context I can't help myself.

What happened to all the geniuses who suggested KM was the engine of this offense and he'd turn Herbert and the Chargers into the greatest show on turf, while Dak fell flat on his face? They never own up, because they are weak cowards without conviction.

They scored one touchdown yesterday. Who wouldn't have taken that before the game?

This loss is 100% on the offense, particularly on “Dak in the Headlights”. Rattled by Fangio again, our offense spent the entire 2nd and 3rd quarters punting and kicking field goals. Defense did its job, $60M man did not until it was too late.
It is a very encouraging game for our defense as sfo runs a similar offense and we played the outside zone well and the misdirection didn’t kill us.

The issue with the offense is the lack of run game. When teams play shell coverage they take away the middle of the field, dare teams to run and throw to the sidelines. Certainly Dak has to take more chances and stop holding onto the football so long as this scheme forces qb’s to throw into tight windows

Yes, even after the fumble on the first drive - they scored the first TD and took the lead. CD was the best player on the field. Then in the 2nd and 3rd Quarters, they never threw it to him anymore. The O-line was awful and Dak had little time most of the day. Edoga should be cut tomorrow morning- was completely terrible the whole game. But just like the Steele game against Philly, they kept playing him all game. They have nobody that could do any better than that, really? Ridiculous.
I heard that about Edoga. He did ok earlier in the year. Was thinking if we scored on that drive and then again on the next drive we would have been in the car bird seat… But like I said I was not able to watch much of the game. I saw Parsons getting held and getting a roughing flag. Then we finally got to tua. Play looked strange.

There was a 10 point swing off the GL fumble… that’s the game IMO
Them mounting a scoring drive from their 1 is harder than doing it from after a kickoff.

Failing to get the TD cost us *less* than 7 points in Expected Points Differential.

When he did have time he held it. You can’t play one hand and ignore the other which was a bigger problem

We held the Niners to 19 and 23 points in both playoff losses.
We held the Chief IN THERE HOUSE to 19 points in another loss.
Are you starting to notice the pattern here????
Unfortunately in the NFL the team that scores the most points(Does not have better stats) wins the game!!!
MXAS EVERYONE!!!!

Turnovers tend to give momentum to the opponent. And sure enough, they complete the giant pass to Waddle

We didn’t get 7. They turned it into 3. 10 point swing.

Any other “math” that comes up with any other result— no matter what fancy name you call it— is faulty.

You can’t gift wrap turnovers in the RZ — particularly on the road— and expect to win.

We lost the turnover battle— and most of the time when that happens— you lose the game.

The last defensive series was abysmal, but to your point, that doesn’t absolve the offense from their performance and lack of production.

Miami was averaging 33 points at home. In order to win, the offense would have to target 30 points minimum going into the contest. They fell way short, and the playcalling and game management was again suspect.

Chronic issues that have plagued us all year continue to show up. I don’t see how those are just going to magically disappear.
..yep, that GL GAFF was huge. It was like having a pebble in your shoe through whole game.

LMAO!

Did the defense do its job with 3 minutes left when we had the lead?

So I guess you didn't see Dak had nowhere to throw the ball and pressure was put on him from all angles?

And you didn't see our RB go soft at the goal-line and then our FB fumbled the ball the next play?
He had no turnovers despite all that pressure. He made plays with his legs all game because he either had no time or no one open.

He wasn't the reason we lost regardless of what all y'all Anti-Dak/Cowboys Cult members say.

One annoying cult member here from across the pond, said "he has athletic talent but has a low IQ." Dak actually scored very well on his Wonderlic Test. I'm starting to think it's you cult members who have low IQ. :)
