We just took down the world champs

I guarantee you, Seattle wanted to win this game
That’s what made it good for me
I’d love the improvement from Milton
Same,,, pleased with all the skill positions, but that flash from Milton came as a very welcome surprise. Howell wasn't shabby at all, but I'd give the edge to Milton who delivered a more forceful performance.

Well, I was encouraged by the fact that O & D units (especially the latter) appeared to be playing in remarkably "team-like" manner...rather than as a collection of "scrubs" desperate to make a roster. That goal line stand was mighty impressive; I can't imagine the Cowboy defense pulling that off at ANY point last season.

Not to mention that it appears a few of the youngsters on the field last evening may be good enough to contribute right away, should they be called upon to do so.

And the scoreboard looked right after sixty minutes. It was a solid night, by any definition. I'm cautiously optimistic this gang will keep working and continue to improve.

Joking aside, it has seemed in the past that other team's backups are always better than ours. Wasn't the case last night. Perhaps a good sign. And of course Camden is headed to the Hall!

I think its that and a reflection of good coaching. In years past our depth killed us. This is a very positive sign. Its worth being excited over imo. Of course I think our starting units will be pretty good as well.

I slept well, for about 4 1/2 hours. Woke up at 4 AM CST. But that is not unusual for me. Sometimes I sleep in until 6 AM, sometimes 8:30 AM.
Man, I can’t think of the last time I slept until 8:30.

Perhaps a nasty drunk from the previous night’s festivities?

Yes usually after a night of some beers. But not drunk. I limit myself to 4 or 5 beers over a 3 to 4 hour time frame.
Then I walk home. A 5 minute walk. 2 to 3 times a week.
Sometimes just a few beers in a few hours, along with some water. I do not go out to drink to get plastered.

Our seconds and thirds looked a little better than their seconds and thirds.

That is worth noting.

Otherwise, wake me in three weeks.

Dallas beat Seattle's 3rd stringers. Big whoop.
Dallas 3rd stringers beat Seattles 3rd stringers. Get it right. Also, Dallas’s 2nd stringers beat Seattles 2nd stringers. If you can’t be positive about that then climb out of the out house.

Because this was not a Jerry-like draft, nor was it a Jerry-like FA signing period. When was the last time Jerry paid a S in FA? Traded major assets for a DT? Signed a guy like Ogboner in FA? This is just different. Not sure how or why, but it just is.

Is Jimmy making the decisions?

All our screaming was finally heard!

Or CP and Shotty convinced him.

I'm ok with either. Can't believe we finally addressed these forever needs.

One of my buds thinks it may be Jimmy's influence. Think that's possible?
