We May Actually Have OL Depth

A lot of the complaints about the O line last year were from:
- People who didn't want to acknowledge that Zeke was too slow getting to the line
- People who didn't want to acknowledge that the passing game caused Dak to hold the ball too long

MM and Schott have been talking "fast" all offseason. Well imagine that. If linemen don't have to hold their blocks for a half hour they don't look too bad.
This!

The only people who complain about the OL are the Dak fanatics, looking for an excuse when he plays bad
Uh that’s not too hard to disprove. Many Dak critics lamented the OL. No matter how you feel about Dak there are those who feel the OL was lacking depth and those who didn’t.

Over and over myself and some others have been saying that Edoga is as good of a depth piece at G as you could get this year. He looked solid.

I still think an injury to Tyron - who looked excellent - would slow them down quite a bit, but the depth isn't much worse than any other team around the league.
First off Edoga is not a good depth piece as you can get in the NFL.

However he seemed to hold his own yesterday with no complaints. Tyron is the guy that when he goes down, things go sideways.

First off that's not what I said.

Edoga is a solid LG and from what we saw of Richards at LT and Bass at RG I would say I’m pretty comfortable with those guys as depth for those spots.

With Tyler as a guy who can be a G/T I think we have some good depth. Other than C (Hoffman looked poor in PS) I’m good with what we have.

This is assuming Richards can man RT if Steele goes down, but there would be options in that case regardless. No, No, No.... Jerry has totally neglected the line. He is incompetent and this team stinks.

Our biggest weakness may be much more solidified than we thought.

Richards is the swing tackle from here on out unless he screws it up.... He might even be the first guy in if tyron goes down.. But yes all the naysayers in the offseason he said we didn't address the offensive line just need to shut up already.. Let's let guys develop even the kicker yes he missed that first extra point but the kid need some time to develop.. Looking at all the moves the Cowboys made in the offseason you could see it all throughout the team in game one.. We're talking about the depth that people laughed at Jerry for saying he thinks we're the most deep team since the 90s.. I think he's right...
