That is an understatement if there ever was one. Aaron Glenn needed a LOT of help out there.

Sitting him tonight.......could mean he can play against Detroit.....with their receivers, We will need him more in that game.

They did their damage on the ground, not through the air.

With Henry in the game, it might've made it possible to overplay the run more. That's the reasoning behind this...

Yeah, they pretty much controlled both sides of the line of scrimmage, but man was I wishing Henry was in there on that last drive. Reeves almost scared me to death.

Damage on the ground was done cause Henry was out and we couldnt play man coverage

also, henry is a wayyyy better tackler than glenn so he would have cut down on all those bounces to the outside. glenn was being blocked into submission, i dont see that happening with henry.

we also missed henry because we had to endure watching reeves get beat a few times by some pretty bad receivers. hurry back 42

Yes, I forgot to mention that. Those bounces to the outside drove me crazy as it kept working and working and working...

I don't think Henry's absence was much of a factor against Philly's wide receivers. They didn't do much at all -- and probably not much more than they would have if Henry had been there.

However, I wonder how differently Zimmer called the defense because Henry wasn't there. Perhaps the safeties stayed back more often to help Glenn or Reeves, opening up the run a little more. Or perhaps the safeties' focused their coverage more on the receivers, leaving the tight ends and backs a little more open.

Still, the pass defense by our secondary was pretty darn good. The Eagles' longest completion was 18 yards, their wide receivers combined for only 62 yards, and we were credited with an incredible 14 passes knocked down -- five more than we've had in any other game this season. And none of those were batted down by linemen.
